Office Action

§112
DETAILED ACTION Applicant’s amendment and arguments filed December 11, 2025 is acknowledged. Claims 1, 3-8, 10-12, 15, 19, and 21-30 have been amended. Claims 14 and 31 are cancelled. Claims 1-13 and 15-30 are currently pending. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 112 The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112(b): (B) CONCLUSION.—The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor regards as the invention. The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), second paragraph: The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the applicant regards as his invention. Claims 1-13 and 15-30 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), second paragraph, as being indefinite for failing to particularly point out and distinctly claim the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor, or for pre-AIA the applicant regards as the invention. Claims 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 13, 22, 23, 25, 26, and 27 recite the limitation "a size of the muting bitmap". It is unclear whether “a size of the muting bitmap” is the same or different than the “size of a muting bitmap” as recited in the respective independent claims. Examiner suggests replacing “a size of the muting bitmap” with --the size of the muting bitmap--. Further, claim 13 recites the limitation “a muting bitmap” on line 2. It is unclear whether “a muting bitmap” is the same or different than the “muting bitmap” as recited in the respective independent claims. Examiner suggests replacing “a muting bitmap” with --the muting bitmap--. Allowable Subject Matter Claims 1-13 and 15-31 would be allowable if rewritten to overcome the rejection(s) under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), 2nd paragraph, set forth in this Office action and to include all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims. Conclusion Any inquiry concerning this communication or earlier communications from the examiner should be directed to SUK JIN KANG whose telephone number is (571) 270-1771.
