Regarding claims 1-22, Duck teaches an electroluminescent device comprising an anode, a hole transporting layer, a light emitting layer, an electron transporting layer, and a cathode (pages 23-27). Duck teaches that the light emitting layer can comprise a host material and a dopant (pages 26 and 27). Duck teaches that the dopant can be PNG media_image1.png 190 619 media_image1.png Greyscale , PNG media_image2.png 160 165 media_image2.png Greyscale , PNG media_image3.png 170 161 media_image3.png Greyscale , PNG media_image4.png 201 182 media_image4.png Greyscale , PNG media_image5.png 148 159 media_image5.png Greyscale , PNG media_image6.png 178 143 media_image6.png Greyscale , PNG media_image7.png 180 129 media_image7.png Greyscale , PNG media_image8.png 187 108 media_image8.png Greyscale , PNG media_image9.png 214 168 media_image9.png Greyscale , and PNG media_image10.png 165 154 media_image10.png Greyscale are a few examples (pages 27-44).
