Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
(a)(2) the claimed invention was described in a patent issued under section 151, or in an application for patent published or deemed published under section 122(b), in which the patent or application, as the case may be, names another inventor and was effectively filed before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claims 1-18 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(2) as being anticipated by Kim et al (WO 2021/261962) (Kim).
In reference to claims 1-12 and 17-18, Kim teaches a compound as shown below that reads on the instant claims (Kim [0284]).

For Claim 1: Reads on formula 1 wherein B1 and B2 are each formula 1-1, each of L-1 is phenylene, each of Ar1 is phenyl, one of Ar2 is phenyl the other is biphenyl.

For Claim 3: Reads on aryl with 6 or 12 carbon atoms.
For Claim 4: Reads on i-1 or i-2.
For Claim 5: Reads on phenyl or biphenyl.

In reference to claims 13 to 16, Kim teaches an organic electroluminescent device of example 149 comprising an anode, cathode, and an emitting layer comprising compound 2-27 as shown below as a host with a guest material that meets the claimed requirements.
