Response to Amendment
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 101
3. 35 U.S.C. 101 reads as follows:
Whoever invents or discovers any new and useful process, machine, manufacture, or composition of matter, or any new and useful improvement thereof, may obtain a patent therefor, subject to the conditions and requirements of this title.
4. Claims 1, 4-6, 8-10, 12-13 and 20-25 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 101 because the claimed invention is directed to non-statutory subject matter.
Claim 1 is rejected because the claim is directed to more than one invention, a method and a system. Claims 4-6, 8-10, 12-13 and 20-25 are directed to software programs, which are software per se; therefore, the claims are subject-matter ineligible.
Allowable Subject Matter
5. Claim 1 contains allowable subject matter, and would be allowable if rewritten to overcome rejection under 35 U.S.C. 101 set forth in this Office action.
