With respect to claims 1-4 and 6, Salter et al. discloses a vehicle battery charging system comprising high voltage battery 32, front case or compartment 14 with aux battery 24, wiring or cable 38, guard or grille 12, and an opening which is defined by isolation door 22, able to move between an opened and closed position to allow access to a reception space or port for plugging in the charge cable for charging the batteries, as shown in figures 3-6 .
