Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claim 1 is rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Torem (US 10,778,020).
As to Claim 1, Torem discloses a direct plug-in power bank, comprising a power bank body and an output connector detachably mounted to the power bank body, the power bank body including a power output portion, a mounting hole and a movable restricting member, the output connector including a power output matching portion and a first restricting portion (Figure 5, Element 34, Figure 7,Element 36); the output connector being insertedly connected to the mounting hole to realize electrical connection between the power output matching portion and the power output portion (Figure 20, cable (Element 36) connected), the movable restricting member being movably fitted with the first restricting portion for restricting the output connector so that the output connector can be detachably mounted to the power bank body (Figure 20).
Allowable Subject Matter
Claims 2-10 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
