Office Action

§112
DETAILED ACTION Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 112 The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112(b): (b ) CONCLUSION.—The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor regards as the invention. The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA), second paragraph: The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the appl icant regards as his invention. Claim FILLIN "Enter claim indentification information" \* MERGEFORMAT s 1, and dependent claims 2-20 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA), second paragraph, as being indefinite for failing to particularly point out and distinctly claim the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor (or for applications subject to pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. 112, the applicant), regards as the invention. Claim FILLIN "Enter claim identification information" \* MERGEFORMAT 1 recites the limitation " FILLIN "Enter appropriate information" \* MERGEFORMAT the top panel " in FILLIN "Enter appropriate information" \* MERGEFORMAT line 4 and “the bottom panel” in line 5. There is insufficient antecedent basis for this limitation in the claim. As these are the first recitations it is suggested that applicant amend to “a top panel” and “a bottom panel” in order to resolve all subsequent antecedent basis issues. Allowable Subject Matter Claim FILLIN "Enter claim identification information" \* MERGEFORMAT s 1-20 would be allowable if rewritten or amended to overcome the rejection(s) under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA), 2nd paragraph, set forth in this Office action. The following is a statement of reasons for the indication of allowable subject matter: FILLIN "Enter explanation" \* MERGEFORMAT The closest applicable prior art is Peterson (US 3,556,734) which teaches a series of baffles within a box structure which create chambers within the box structure (See Peterson Fig. 1-3) However, Peterson does not teach "a screen basket supported in the first chamber below the first hole in the top panel" or the rest of the claim structures which as a whole overcome Peterson. No other applicable prior art could be found which anticipates or renders obvious the claimed limitations . Other Applicable Prior Art All other art cited not detailed above in a rejection is considered relevant to at least some portion or feature of the current application and is cited for possible future use for reference. Applicant may find it useful to be familiar with all cited art for possible future rejections or discussion. Contact Information Any inquiry concerning this communication or earlier communications from the examiner should be directed to FILLIN "Examiner name" \* MERGEFORMAT BRIT E ANBACHT whose telephone number is FILLIN "Phone number" \* MERGEFORMAT (571)272-9876 .
