DETAILED ACTION
The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA .
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 101
35 U.S.C. 101 reads as follows:
Whoever invents or discovers any new and useful process, machine, manufacture, or composition of matter, or any new and useful improvement thereof, may obtain a patent therefor, subject to the conditions and requirements of this title.
Claim(s) 11-16 is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 101 because the claimed invention is directed to non-statutory subject matter. The claim(s) does/do not fall within at least one of the four categories of patent eligible subject matter because the claim(s) are directed towards “A computer program product comprising one or more computer readable storage media, and program instructions collectively stored on the one or more computer readable storage media”.
The claim(s) should be amended to read
‘A non-transitory computer readable media having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to: …’.
Allowable Subject Matter (over prior art)
Claim(s) 1-10, 17-20 is/are allowed.
The following is a statement of reasons for the indication of allowable subject matter over prior art:
Examiner’s closest prior art to the claimed subject matter:
RAJU (US 20230408477 A1) teaches ‘a system comprising a sensor module configured to detect and measure one or more air pollutants at a geographic location and generate air quality data, a cloud based application comprising a data processing module configured to receive, via a communication module, the air quality data and derive a first air quality index, a user device comprising an application program configured to receive, via the communication module, the first air quality index, the application program configured to suggest an alternate location having a second air quality index, and wherein the air quality data comprises one or more air quality parameters, the geographic location data corresponding to the one or more air quality parameters, and a time stamp; and wherein the system is configured to provide real-time air quality of the geographic location and the alternate location’;
ZENG ET AL. (US 20180156766 A1) teaches ‘A system and method for monitoring environment employ a dense network of low-cost sensor nodes. The method includes obtaining environmental information by combining a plurality of observations; wherein the plurality of observations are made with in-situ or remote sensors; wherein the sensors are of different degrees of accuracy in a way to complement each other, and of different cost, and wherein the low-cost sensors form a high-density network comprising a plurality of distributed sensors. The system can monitor gas concentrations over urban areas, industrial, forest, farm, wetland, power plants and other types of surfaces’;
COGILL ET AL. (US 20160290977 A1) teaches ‘A method for localizing the source of air pollution that includes receiving pollution data from a network in communication with at least one air pollution sensor that is connected to at least one motor vehicle in a stationary position. Each stationary motor vehicle of the network is positioned at a different air pollution measurement location. The method may further include determining from the pollution data an origin of an air pollutant using an air pollution model provided by a pollutant source localization device including at least one hardware processor’.
None of the cited prior art alone or in combination provides motivation to explicitly teach:
sending a first drone into an area,
the first drone comprising a carbon dioxide sensor;
detecting a level of carbon dioxide in the area;
generating a map
wherein
the map includes a position and the level of carbon dioxide;
calculating a carbon dioxide hotspot where the level of carbon dioxide is above a threshold;
creating a plan, using a planner module, to diffuse the carbon dioxide hotspot in a time limit
wherein
creating the plan comprises
calculating an amount of a drones to send based on a needed amount of humidity and a needed amount of light to diffuse the carbon dioxide hotspot in the time limit,
wherein
the needed amount of humidity and the needed amount of light is calculated using an optimizer module,
wherein
the time limit is provided by a work order;
sending the calculated amount of drones to the area of the carbon dioxide hotspot;
diffusing the carbon dioxide hotspot, using the calculated amount of drones;
sampling the area, using the first drone,
and
updating the map with a new level of carbon dioxide
of claim(s) 1, 11, 17 (including dependent claim(s)).
