DETAILED ACTION Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA . Applicant’s preliminary amendment filed 7/27/2023, is acknowledged. Claims 1-9, 15 and 16 are pending. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – (a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. Claim(s) 1-9, 15 and 16 is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Lin et al. (US 2020/0339625). Regarding claims 1 and 4, Lin et al. provides compounds of Formula II: PNG media_image1.png 200 400 media_image1.png Greyscale Para. [0014]. This reads on the general formula (1) wherein P4 is H, e2 is 1, P5 is a protecting group (current claims 2-3), k2 is 1, h3 is H, X is a protecting group or chelator or detectable label (current claims 5-8), h2 is H, j and I are 1, h1 is H, Ar1 is an aromatic or heteroaromatic C5-C12 hydrocarbon, k1 is 1, P3, 2 and 1 are H, and e1 is 1 or 2. Regarding claim 15 and 16, Lin et al. teaches treating prostate cancer. See para. [0016].
