Office Action

§102
CTNF 18/316,659 CTNF 88657 DETAILED ACTION Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status 07-03-aia AIA 15-10-aia The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 07-07-aia AIA 07-07 The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – 07-08-aia AIA (a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. 07-15 AIA Claim s 1-15 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102( a)(1 ) as being anticipated by Kopp (US 2020/0328483) . Regarding claims 1-5 and 11, FIG. 1 teaches a housing composite for a battery comprising a housing element (3) which is configured to be connected to a further housing element (2). FIG. 1-FIG. 2 shows a cover element (14) is connected to the housing element (3). FIG. 1 teaches a temperature-control fluid flows inlet (151) to outlet (152) ( claim 11 ). FIG. 3 teaches a first temperature-control structure comprising a plurality of first flow interference elements (101). FIG. 1 teaches an element of a battery controller (120) in a thermally conductive manner [0085] on the housing element (3). For the last three lines of claim 1 and claims 2-5 , see annotated FIG. 3 below. The claimed invention does not provide specifics on how a first region and a second region having a first longitudinal direction and a second longitudinal direction respectively are determined. The claimed invention fails to require an arrangement of interference elements that is different than what is shown in FIG. 3 of Kopp. PNG media_image1.png 796 1160 media_image1.png Greyscale Regarding claim 6, the interference elements in the row extending in the first longitudinal direction has two different sized interference elements whereas the interference elements in the row extending the second longitudinal direction has the same spacing (see annotated figure above) thereby satisfying “different from on another” in the claim. Regarding claim 7, see FIG. 1, FIG. 2, and FIG. 7. Regarding claims 8 and 13-15, reference character 120 is an electrical voltage convertor- DC convertor. See FIG. 1, FIG. 2, and [0062]-[0064]. Regarding claim 9, FIG. 3 and FIG. 7 each illustrate the interference elements 162 comprising a circular cross sectional region. Regarding claim 10, see [0014]. Regarding claim 12, see FIG. 2.
