Office Action

§102
DETAILED ACTION This Office Action is a response to Applicant's Amendment filed on 7/13/26. By virtue of this amendment, claims 1-19,22-33,35-44,46-55 are cancelled and claim 76 is newly added, thus, claims 20-21,34,45,56-76 are currently presented in the instant application. Claim Objections Claim 63 is objected to because of the following informalities: Claim 63, line 1, “antenna of claim 46”. It is unclear whether claim 63 will depend on independent claims 20, 34 and 45. Appropriate correction is required. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – (a)(2) the claimed invention was described in a patent issued under section 151, or in an application for patent published or deemed published under section 122(b), in which the patent or application, as the case may be, names another inventor and was effectively filed before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. Claims 34 and 60 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(2) anticipated by Hou e al US Pub. No: 2021/0305717). With respect to claim 34, Hou et al disclose in figures 22C-22H, a base station antenna(100), comprising: a grid reflector(the primary reflector 214 providing passive reflector 170f, paragraph [452]); and a plurality of feed boards (1200) coupled to the grid reflector(214,170f), wherein some of the plurality of feed boards reside on a front primary surface of the grid reflector and some others of the plurality of feed boards reside on a rear primary surface of the grid reflector(214,170f)(paragraphs [452] for the feed boards 1200 can be provided in front of or behind the side segments 170s); and at least one radiating element (222)extending forwardly from each of at least some of the plurality of feed boards. Also see paragraph[452] and FIGS. 54A, 54B, paragraphs [483-487]. With respect to claim 60, Hou et al disclose wherein the feed boards on the front primary surface comprise low-band feed boards and the feed boards on the second primary surface comprise mid-band feed boards. Paragraph [486]. Allowable Subject Matter Claims 56-59,61-65 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims. Claims 20-21,45,66-76 are allowed. Citation of pertinent prior art The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to applicants' disclosure.
