Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status
The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA .
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claim(s) 1,2,8,9 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by KR 20130042149 cited by Applicant.
KR201300421149 discloses overvoltage protection device comprising see Fig 2 and paragraph 17 , overvoltage protection device comprising one way pass circuit ( diode in main line ), comprising an input terminal (anode, left side ) electrically connected to first equipment (102 ) and output terminal ( cathode , right side ) electrically connected to second equipment ( controller 130 and motor 104), a supercapacitor (106), a converter ( chopper 108) electrically connected to output terminal and supercapacitor (106), wherein converter (108) detects a fist voltage of fist power flow at output terminal and charges supercapacitor (106) by fist power flow in response to first voltage being greater than first threshold ( par 22, a supercapacitor 106 for charging a volte generated by drive motor 104 during regenerative braking ). With respect to claim 2, chopper 108 operates to prevent overvoltage of supercapacitor 106 and claim 8 power supply 102 and 104 is disclosed.
Allowable Subject Matter
Claims 3-7 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
Prior art does not disclose converter discharges supercapacitor in response to third voltage as being less than third threshold, whin third threshold is less than or equal to fist threshold, also whin converter converts first power flow from first voltage to fifth voltage and charges supercapacitor by converted first power flow whin fifth voltage is less than fist voltage with respect to the rest of the claim.
Conclusion
The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to applicant's disclosure. WO2021214236 discloses supercapacitor and converter and overvoltage g.
