See MPEP 2111. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – (a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. Claim(s) 1-2 is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102a1 as being anticipated by Kibiloski US 20030231553. With regard to claim 1 Kibiloski discloses a light emitting wall clock, comprising: a housing seat (20), having a front end and a rear end opposite to each other (figure 4 shows a clearly defined front and rear), the housing seat comprising an accommodating chamber formed at the front end (figure 4); PNG media_image3.png 264 235 media_image3.png Greyscale a time module (movement 34), comprising a clock dial (27) disposed at the accommodating chamber (figure 4); a light guide cover, disposed at the accommodating chamber and covering the clock dial (abstract; figure 4); and a light emitting module (37), disposed at the housing seat (20) and comprising at least one light source (37), wherein a light emitting viewing angle covers the light guide cover (abstract, figure 4). With regard to claim 2 Kibiloski discloses the light emitting wall clock according to claim 1, wherein the light emitting viewing angle of the light source covers the light guide cover and the clock dial (abstract, figure 4). Allowable Subject Matter Claims 3-11 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims. Conclusion The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to applicant's disclosure.Choi US 2017/0357214 teaches a controller 17 on a circuit board 18.
