Claim Objections
Claim 5 is objected to because of the following informalities:
Claim 5 recite the limitation “…transcever …” in line(s) 1 & 3 of the claim. The Examiner suggests replacing the limitation with --transceiver -- to help clarify the claim language.
Claim 5 recite the limitation “…configred…” in line(s) 3 of the claim. The Examiner suggests replacing the limitation with --configured-- to help clarify the claim language.
Appropriate correction is required.
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claim(s) 1-5 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Zhu et al. (hereinafter Zhu) (US 2021/0092667 A1; also, see US 11,510,131 B2).
Regarding claims 1 and 5, Zhu discloses a communication control method used in a cellular communication system, the communication control method comprising:
receiving, by a relay node (e.g., IAB node), configuration information related to a flow control feedback message from a donor node (e.g., Donor DgNB) { (see pg. 12, [0164-0165]; Figs. 6-8), where the system provides flow control capability and QoS (see pg. 13, [0167]) }; and
transmitting, by the relay node (e.g., IAB node), first information collected upon transmission of the flow control feedback message or second information collected upon reception of the flow control feedback message in accordance with the configuration information { (see pg. 13, [0167, 0170]; pg. 12, [0164-0165]; Figs. 6-8), where the system provides flow control feedback information }.
Regarding claim 2, Zhu discloses the communication control method according to claim 1, wherein the configuration information includes a report trigger condition indicating performing any one of: reporting to the donor node the first information obtained by the time the flow control feedback message is transmitted in response to the transmission of the flow control feedback message, or reporting to the donor node the second information obtained by the time the flow control message is received in response to the reception of the flow control feedback message { (see pg. 13, [0167, 0170]; pg. 12, [0164-0165]; pg. 11, [0147]; Figs. 6-8) }.
Regarding claim 3, Zhu discloses the communication control method according to claim 1, wherein the flow control feedback message is a downlink flow control feedback message or an uplink flow control feedback message { (see pg. 13, [0167, 0170]; pg. 12, [0164-0165]; Figs. 6-8), where the system provides link information }.
Regarding claim 4, Zhu discloses a communication control method used in a cellular communication system, the communication control method comprising:
receiving, by a relay node (e.g., IAB node), configuration information from a donor node (e.g., Donor DgNB) { (see pg. 12, [0164-0165]; Figs. 6-8), where the system provides flow control capability and QoS (see pg. 13, [0167]) }; and
transmitting, by the relay node (e.g., IAB node), to the donor node third information collected upon reception of a notification relating to a failure (e.g., link blockage) of a backhaul link from a parent node (e.g., IAB node) of the relay node and fourth information collected upon transmission of the notification to a child node of the relay node { (see pg. 13, [0167, 0170]; pg. 12, [0164-0165]; Figs. 4 & 6-8), where the system provides flow control feedback information, and the system has a parent node (see pp. 11-12, [0155, 0153]), and provides a status of a link for backhaul service (see pg. 13, [0170]) }.
