Patentability shall not be negated by the manner in which the invention was made. The factual inquiries for establishing a background for determining obviousness under 35 U.S.C. 103 are summarized as follows: 1. Determining the scope and contents of the prior art. 2. Ascertaining the differences between the prior art and the claims at issue. 3. Resolving the level of ordinary skill in the pertinent art. 4. Considering objective evidence present in the application indicating obviousness or nonobviousness. Claim s 6, 15 and 24 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 103 as being unpatentable over Awadin et al in view of Madadi et al ( US 2022 / 0338189 A1 ) . Claim 6 (similarly claim 24 ) . Awadin shows t he UE of claim 3 ; Awadin does not expressly describe wherein the configuration information includes: a first report configuration with a particular report identifier for the CSI report, the first report configuration including at least the first one or more fields, or a second report configuration with the particular report identifier and an SBFD indicator, the second report configuration including at least the second one or more fields. Madadi teaches feature of: a first report configuration with a particular report identifier for the CSI report ([0015]: a report configuration identifier within one of a list of aperiodic CSI report triggers ) , the first report configuration including at least the first one or more fields ([0015]: the trigger is a dedicated field within a medium access control-control element (MAC-CE) ) , or a second report configuration with the particular report identifier and an SBFD indicator ([0107]: CSI configuration type (periodic, semi-persistent PUCCH, semi-persistent PUSCH, aperiodic), report frequency configuration (frequency granularity, i.e. wideband/ subband ) ) , the second report configuration including at least the second one or more fields ( see above ) . It would have been obvious to one of ordinary skill in the art before the effective filing date of the claimed invention to implement the report configuration with a particular identifier as taught by Madadi in the CSI report of Awadin to decrease propagation loss of the radio waves and increase transmission distance ([0003]) . Claim 15 . Awadin shows t he network node of claim 12 ; Awadin does not expressly describe wherein the configuration information includes: a first report configuration with a particular report identifier for the CSI report, the first report configuration including at least the first one or more fields, or a second report configuration with the particular report identifier and an SBFD indicator, the second report configuration including at least the second one or more fields. Madadi teaches feature of: a first report configuration with a particular report identifier for the CSI report ([0015]: a report configuration identifier within one of a list of aperiodic CSI report triggers ) , the first report configuration including at least the first one or more fields ([0015]: the trigger is a dedicated field within a medium access control-control element (MAC-CE) ) , or a second report configuration with the particular report identifier and an SBFD indicator ([0107]: CSI configuration type (periodic, semi-persistent PUCCH, semi-persistent PUSCH, aperiodic), report frequency configuration (frequency granularity, i.e. wideband/ subband ) ), the second report configuration including at least the second one or more fields ( see above ) . It would have been obvious to one of ordinary skill in the art before the effective filing date of the claimed invention to implement the report configuration with a particular identifier as taught by Madadi in the CSI report of Awadin to decrease propagation loss of the radio waves and increase transmission distance ([0003]). ========== ========== ========== Conclusion The prior art made of record is considered pertinent to applicant’s disclosure. 1. Chatterjee et al, US 2023 / 0421222 A1 : a U ser E quipment (UE) for Subband Full-Duplex ( SBFD ) operation in a 5G N ew R adio (NR) network, wherein the UE to decode R adio R esource C ontrol (RRC) signaling received from a base station and including at least one Channel State Information Reference Signal ( CSI-RS ) resource set with time-frequency resource allocation associated with a CSI-RS transmission .
