Claims 1-8 are currently pending and the claims as originally filed on 10/04/2023 are acknowledged.
In the event the determination of the status of the application as subject to AIA 35 U.S.C. 102 and 103 (or as subject to pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. 102 and 103) is incorrect, any correction of the statutory basis for the rejection will not be considered a new ground of rejection if the prior art relied upon, and the rationale supporting the rejection, would be the same under either status.
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claims 1-8 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Pranay et al. (AU2021104295A4, effective filing date: 2021-07-09 and publication date: 2022-04-28).

Prior Art
Pranay discloses an innovative bioactive dressing for treating wounds using herbs and cow urine (title); the wound dressing comprises herbs aloe vera, calendula, curcumin, sandal wood, and cow urine (claim 1 of prior art) and the dressing is incorporated in the nanofiber patches through electrospinning machine wherein the patch include two layers an outer layer which is made up of a non-absorbative and non-dissolving matrix of nanofiber formed by mixing cow urine with extracts of Aloe vera, Curcumin, Sandal wood, etc. (page 5, fifth para.); (instant claims 1-3); the herb extracts are dry powder (page 7, last para.)(instant claim 4); the wound bioactive dressing is prepared by isolating extracts from various plants of Aloe vera, Calandula, Curcumin, Sandal wood; collecting cow urine at different interval from five different indigenous breeds of cow; performing comparative assessment of herbs with cow urine in terms of physical stability, organoleptic parameters and chemical instability; mixing the cow urine with dry powder extracts at 40-45C by maceration process for 72 hours to form a cow urine extract, and filtering the cow urine extract; and concentrating the filtrate to a semi solid mass by using vacuum distillation apparatus, and incorporating it into a nanofiber patch (page 7- second para. – page 8, fifth para.) (instant claims 5-6); wherein the maceration method involves extraction that includes twenty five grams of selected herbs were poured into 150 cc absolute ethanol (Merck, Germany), and then, the mixture was placed in the shaking incubator at 300 C and at 100 rpm for 48 h, and afterwards the ethanolic extract was evaporated using rotary evaporator for 25 min to obtain pasty extract (page 4, 7th para.). All the parameters of amounts, temperature and hours are the same as the ones claimed (instant claims 7-8).
As noted above, Pranay discloses the claimed invention, and thus, instant claims 1-8 are anticipated by Pranay.
