The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – (a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. Claims 1-10 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a, 1) as being anticipated by Scanzillo (U. S. 2018/0198216). For claim 1, Scanzillo, see figure 2, discloses a multi-pole electrical wiring devices that includes a housing 70, a wire-receiving opening 72 and a actuating member opening 80 and with an interior wire termination assembly 136 accessible from outside the housing, the wire termination member including a wire receiving opening 144 , an actuating member 150 movable between first and second positions and in the second position shown in figure 32 to move the device open position )figure 32) and in the first position (figure 31) to cause the device to close. For claim 2, the Scanzillo wire termination assembly includes a wire press member on both sides of opening 144. For claims 3, 4, Scanzillo device includes a biasing member on spring 336 (figure 32). For claim 5, The Scanzillo actuating member 150 is shown to remain in position unless manually moved. For claim 6, the Scanzillo the actuating member are in opposite direction. For claims 7-8, the motion of The Scanzillo activation member in figure and second directions is linear motion. For claim 9, motion of activating member in the first activating member is outward of the housing. For claim 10, the Scanzillo device includes the closed position the wire is gripped with a force perpendicular to the wire axis. Allowable Subject Matter Claims 11-42 are allowed. The following is an examiner’s statement of reasons for allowance: Each of parent claims 11, 33, the recited structure together with “a clamp brace connected to a clamping member” define patentability over the prior art. Any comments considered necessary by applicant must be submitted no later than the payment of the issue fee and, to avoid processing delays, should preferably accompany the issue fee. Such submissions should be clearly labeled “Comments on Statement of Reasons for Allowance.” Any inquiry concerning this communication should be directed to NEIL ABRAMS at telephone number (571)272-2089.
