Office Action

§112
DETAILED ACTION Response to Amendment Examiner acknowledges Applicant’s response filed 5 February 2026 containing amendments to the claims and remarks. Claims 1-19 are pending. The previous rejections under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) are withdrawn in view of Applicant’s amendments to the claims. A new ground for rejection of claim 18, necessitated by Applicant’s amendments to the claims, is entered under 35 U.S.C. 112(a). The rejection follows. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 112 The following is a quotation of the first paragraph of 35 U.S.C. 112(a): (a) IN GENERAL.—The specification shall contain a written description of the invention, and of the manner and process of making and using it, in such full, clear, concise, and exact terms as to enable any person skilled in the art to which it pertains, or with which it is most nearly connected, to make and use the same, and shall set forth the best mode contemplated by the inventor or joint inventor of carrying out the invention. Claim 18 is rejected under 35 U.S.C. 112(a) as failing to comply with the written description requirement. The claim(s) contains subject matter which was not described in the specification in such a way as to reasonably convey to one skilled in the relevant art that the inventor or a joint inventor, or for applications subject to pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. 112, the inventor(s), at the time the application was filed, had possession of the claimed invention. With respect to claim 18, Applicant has amended the claim to recite, in relevant part, “a condensation sub-component connected to the valve.” Examiner does not find support in the specification for such limitation, including in paragraph [0086] which Applicant cites for support. Consequently, the cited limitation constitutes new matter with respect to the specification as originally filed. Allowable Subject Matter Claims 1-17 and 19 are allowed. Conclusion Any inquiry concerning this communication or earlier communications from the examiner should be directed to Randy Boyer whose telephone number is (571) 272-7113. The examiner can normally be reached Monday through Friday from 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. (EST). If attempts to reach the examiner by telephone are unsuccessful, the examiner's supervisor, Prem C. Singh, can be reached at (571) 272-6381. The fax number for the organization where this application or proceeding is assigned is 571-273-8300.
