DETAILED ACTION
Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status
The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA .
Claims 1-10 are pending in the current application.
Specification
The disclosure is objected to because of the following informalities:
Page 14, line 4 recites “second hydraulic oil chamber 509”. The examiner believes the correct reference numeral is “508”.
Appropriate correction is required.
Claim Objections
Claim 1 line 10 recites the limitation “each the fairing tile”. It appears to the examiner that the limitation applies to each fairing tile. The examiner recommends changing the limitation to “each fairing tile”.
Claim 4 lines 7, 8, 9 and 14 each recite “each the airfoil adjusting sheet”. The examiner believes this should be “each airfoil adjusting sheet” in all 4 instances.
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 112
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112(b):
(b) CONCLUSION.—The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor regards as the invention.
Claims 1-10 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) as being indefinite for failing to particularly point out and distinctly claim the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor regards as the invention.
Claim 1 line 6 recites “a fairing tile is arranged at each the notch through hinge and is matched with the notch”. This limitation is unclear.
Allowable Subject Matter
Claims 1-10 would be allowable if rewritten or amended to overcome the rejection(s) under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) set forth in this Office action.
Conclusion
The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to
applicant's disclosure. US 6684801 and us 6405653 each discloses underwater
vehicles with supercavitation ventilation control systems for venting gases to the exterior
of the vehicle to increase a cavitation bubble to reduce hydrodynamic drag. US
5955698 discloses an air launched supercavitating water-entry projectile designed to
achieve low-drag water penetration.
