Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA. Claim Objections Claim 4 is objected to because of the following informalities: P lease change “ a diameter of 20mm and a thickness of 10mm ” in line 20 to “ a diameter of 20 mm and a thickness of 10 mm ”. Please delete the extra space between the words in lines 12 and 21. Appropriate correction is required. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 112 The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112(b): (b ) CONCLUSION.—The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor regards as the invention. The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA), second paragraph: The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the appl icant regards as his invention. Claim s 1 - 4 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA), second paragraph, as being indefinite for failing to particularly point out and distinctly claim the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor (or for applications subject to pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. 112, the applicant), regards as the invention. Regarding claim 1, it appears that “RO” in line 7 should be “R 2 O ”. The term “ low-dielectric wollastonite ” in claim s 1-4 is a relative term which renders the claim indefinite. The term “ low-dielectric wollastonite ” is not defined by the claim, the specification does not provide a standard for ascertaining the requisite degree, and one of ordinary skill in the art would not be reasonably apprised of the scope of the invention. There is no standard for “ low-dielectric ” in the application. The term “low- temperature ” in claims 1- 4 is a relative term which renders the claim indefinite. The term “low-dielectric wollastonite” is not defined by the claim, the specification does not provide a standard for ascertaining the requisite degree, and one of ordinary skill in the art would not be reasonably apprised of the scope of the invention. There is no standard for “low- temperature ” in t he application. Claim 2 recites the limitation " the main phase ceramic material" in line 3 . There is insufficient antecedent basis for this limitation in the claim. Claim 4 is generally narrative and indefinite, failing to conform with current U.S. practice. It appears to be a literal translation into English from a foreign document and are replete with grammatical and idiomatic errors. Claim 4 recites the limitation "the mixture" in line 1 4 . There is insufficient antecedent basis for this limitation in the claim. Claim 4 recites the limitation "the dried material " in line 1 5 . There is insufficient antecedent basis for this limitation in the claim. Claim 4 recites the limitation " it " in line s16-17 . I t's unclear what "it" is being referred to . Regarding claim 4 , it appears that “RO” in lines 13, 1 8, 22 and 2 9 should be “R 2 O ”. Regarding claim 4, it appears that “ oxide sintering aid ” in line 17 should be “ the sintering aid ”. Regarding claim 4, it appears that “ Ca x SiO 3 SiO 2 ” in line 17 should be “ Ca x SiO 3 , SiO2 ” . Claim 4 recites the limitation "the mixture" in line 23 . There is insufficient antecedent basis for this limitation in the claim. Prior art considered CN104692808 discloses a method for lowering ceramic firing temperature. The additive is composed of SiO 2 , B 2 O 3 , ZnO , Bi 2 O 3 and Li 2 O. By using the ceramic blank additive, the blank can generate abundant liquid phase without high temperature required by common ceramic firing .
