Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 112
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112(b):
(B) CONCLUSION. - The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor regards as the invention.
Claims 1-42 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) as being indefinite for failing to particularly point out and distinctly claim the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor regards as the invention.
Specifically, Claim 1 is rejected since there is no antecedent basis for the language “the racking screw access window.”
Regarding each of Claims 2, 4, and 5, line 1, the language -“L”- is indefinite.
Regarding Claim 3, line 2, the language “front surface feature” is indefinite.
Regarding Claim 13, line 2, there is no antecedent basis for the language “cross-sectional hole.”
Regarding Claim 18, the 2nd to the last line, the language “computer processing device” is indefinite.
Regarding Claim 30, line 3, there is no antecedent basis for the language “the racking adapter”.
Conclusion
The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to Applicant's disclosure. Ledbetter et al. (U.S. Pat. No. 8,164,875 B1) discloses a portable motorized racking tool utilizing an alignment tool but does not disclose the claimed adjustable anti-rotation device.
