CTNF 18/610,755 CTNF 77090 DETAILED ACTION Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status 07-03-aia AIA 15-10-aia The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA. Specification 06-11 AIA The title of the invention is not descriptive. A new title is required that is clearly indicative of the invention to which the claims are directed. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 07-07-aia AIA 07-07 The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – 07-08-aia AIA (a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. 07-15 AIA Claim s 1-2 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102( a)(1 ) as being anticipated by Okamura et al. (7,507,125) . Regarding claim 1 , Okamura et al. disclose a connector, comprising: a terminal module including a communication cable (28, Fig. 3) having a pair of signal wires (28d) embedded in an insulating sheath (22 and 28a), tip regions of the pair of signal wires extending as wire exposed portions (pointed at 28d, Fig. 3) from a tip surface (FIGURE A below (from Fig. 3)) of the sheath, and a terminal holding member (12, Fig. 4) for accommodating a pair of terminal fittings (11, Fig. 3) individually fixed to a pair of the wire exposed portions, the wire exposed portions being drawn out from wire draw-out openings (123a, Fig. 3) of the terminal holding member; and a housing (15 and 16, Fig. 1) for accommodating a tip region of the communication cable and the terminal holding member accommodating the pair of terminal fittings (Fig. 3), the housing being formed with a stopper (FIGURE A below) for restricting the tip surface of the sheath from approaching the wire draw-out openings. Allowable Subject Matter 12-151-08 AIA 07-43 12-51-08 Claim s 3-6 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
