DETAILED ACTION
Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status
The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA .
Election/Restrictions
Applicant’s election without traverse of Group 1 (figs 1-8) in the reply filed on 11/3/25 is acknowledged. Applicant submits that claims 1-9 and 26-27 read on the elected group. Applicant has withdrawn claims 10-25. Claims 26 and 27 are amended.
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 112
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112(b):
(b) CONCLUSION.—The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor regards as the invention.
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), second paragraph:
The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the applicant regards as his invention.
Claims 1-9 and 26-27 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), second paragraph, as being indefinite for failing to particularly point out and distinctly claim the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor (or for applications subject to pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. 112, the applicant), regards as the invention.
Claim 1 recites, “… being defined with a fixing slot running left and right…” – noting that the terms “left” and “right” are relative terms. Left to right relative to what? The scope of the claim is unclear.
Claim 1, recites, “…and the sliding member is operated to slide to a first position to allow the sliding member to release the resisting member” but then the claim seems to contradict by reciting, “… and the sliding member is released to allow the sliding member to drive the resisting member to reset.” As written, it is unclear which component is released and/or releasing. Thus the scope of the claim is unclear.
Claim 6 recites, “…an extending direction of the at least one slant groove is at an included angle with respective the sliding direction of the sliding member …” – which, as written, is unclear. Thus the scope of the claim is unclear.
Claim 7 recites, “…one of two sliding members arranged in parallel and at intervals…” – which as written is unclear. Noting that the use of the term “intervals”, in this instance, would require you to have more than just two parts. Thus the scope of the claim is unclear. Claim 8 is rejected for similar reasoning.
Claim 27 recites the limitation "a bottom wall surface" in last two lines. There is insufficient antecedent basis for this limitation in the claim. This feature is previously recited in claim 1, line 10.
Allowable Subject Matter
Claims 1 would be allowable if rewritten or amended to overcome the rejection(s) under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), 2nd paragraph, set forth in this Office action.
Notes claims 2-9 and 26-27 depend therefrom and claims 10-11 would be rejoined, due to dependence on claim 1, upon allowance.
The following is a statement of reasons for the indication of allowable subject matter: note the quick-release assembly including the configurations of the components of the mounting base, fixing slot, accommodation slot, limiting groove; sliding member and resisting member, wherein after assembly, one end of the resisting member abuts against the sliding member, and the other end of the resisting member extends out of a bottom wall surface of the fixing slot, and the sliding member is operated to slide to a first position to allow the sliding member to release the resisting member; and the sliding member is released to allow the sliding member to drive the resisting member to reset, as best understood.
Conclusion
The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to applicant's disclosure and could be used in subsequent office action rejections, if applicable.
