Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claim 1 is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Jaganathan et al. (Patent Application Publication US 2018/0169551 A1).
Regarding Claim 1, Jaganathan et al teach a first fiber web comprising first fibers (Page 1 Section 0006), wherein the first fibers have an average diameter of less than or equal to 0.5 micrometers (Page 7 Section 0125), wherein the first fiber web has a thickness of less than or equal to 200 micrometers (Page 12 Section 0156); a second, hydrophilic fiber web directly adjacent to the first fiber web (Fig. 1E element 120, 110 Page 5 Section 0109), a third fiber web bonded to the first fiber web (Fig. 1E element 140, 110); and a fourth fiber web bonded to the second fiber web or the third fiber web (Fig. 1E element 130, 120 or 140, 150), wherein the fourth fiber web and the second or third fiber web are bonded mechanically and/or by an adhesive layer positioned therebetween (Page 7 Section 0122), and wherein the fourth fiber web has a basis weight greater than or equal to 30 gsm
