Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – (a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. Claims 1-2 and 5 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Ambo (1653650 B)(English Translated). In Regards to Claim 1: Ambo teaches a connection terminal (1), comprising: an electric wire connection part (10) to which an electric wire (W) is electrically connected by ultrasonic bonding (UW), and an electric connection part (20) integrated with the electric wire connection part (10) and electrically connected to a mating terminal, wherein the electric connection part (20) includes a box unit (20) which is formed in a cylindrical shape by bending a plurality of bending parts (327) and into which the mating terminal is capable of being inserted, a thin-walled portion (See Reproduced Drawing 1) having a thickness less than other parts of the box unit (20) is provided on each of the bending parts (327), and on at least one of the bending parts (327), a plurality of thin-walled portions (See Reproduced Drawing 1) is arranged along the bending part (327). In Regards to Claim 2: Ambo teaches the connection terminal according to claim 1, wherein the thin-walled portions (See Reproduced Drawing 1) are arranged at a distance from an end portion of the box unit (20). In Regards to Claim 5: The connection terminal according to claim 1, wherein the box unit (20) includes a connecting wall part provided with each bending part (327) on both sides in the width direction, and the plurality of thin-walled portions (See Reproduced Drawing 1) arranged along the bending part 9327) is arranged in each bending part of the connecting wall part. The prior art of record fails to teach or fairly suggest these limitation as substantially described in claims 3-4, these limitations, in combination with remaining limitations of claims 3-4, are neither taught nor suggested by the prior art of record.
