Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status
The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA .
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claims 1-5 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a1) as being anticipated by NTT Docomo Inc (WO 2019/159245).
For independent 1, NTT Docomo Inc (WO 2019/159245) discloses a terminal comprising: a receiving section that receives one channel state information (CS

) report configuration; and a control section that performs control of transmitting first CSI at a first timing and second CSI being different from the first CS1 at a second timing being different from the first timing, based on the one CSI report configuration ( See paragraphs [0026],[0030]-[0032], [0047], [0048], fig. 2 & (fig. 2A) and ( a user terminal is notified of/set with a plurality of pieces of reporting configuration information (paragraph [0030]). In the reporting configuration information with reporting configuration ID #1, the reporting cycle and offset arc indicated to bc "5 slots" and "3 slots", respectively, by reporting slot
information, and CSI PUCCH resource information indicates CSI PUCCH resource #1 (paragraph [0031]).Therefore, the P-CSI with reporting configuration ID #1 is associated with CSI PUCCH resource #1 in slots #3,#8, and #13.
In the reporting configuration information with reporting configuration IDs #2 and #3, the reporting cycle and offset are indicated to be "5 slots" and "1 slot", respectively, by reporting slot information, and CSI PUCCH resource information indicates CSI PUCCH resource #2 (paragraph [0032]). Therefore, the P-CSI with
reporting configuration IDs #2 and #3 is associated with CSI PUCCH resource #2 in slots #1, #6, and #11).
For dependent claims 2-3, WO 2019/159245 A1 (NTT DOCOMO INC. also discloses wherein the first CSI is CSI of a first subband, and the second CSI is CSI of a second subband being different from the first subband ( See paragraph [0026]) ; and
wherein the first CSI is CS having a first priority, and the second CSI is CSI having a second priority being different from the first priority( See paragraphs [0047] and [0048]) indicates that in the event of a collision of a plurality of CSI
PUCCHs corresponding to different reporting configuration IDs, the CSI to be transmitted is determined on the basis of a CSI priority level. Consequently, it is found that the CSI is assigned a "first priority level", "second
priority level", and so on) .
For independent claims 4-5 are rejected for the same reason as indicated in claim 1.
The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to applicant's disclosure.
Zhang et al. (2025/0023614) is cited to show a system which is considered pertinent to the claimed invention.
