DETAILED ACTION
The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA .
A preliminary amendment received on 5/30/2024 amending claims 4, 12, 15, 17, 19, 21, 48-49, canceling claims 13, 16, 18, 20, 22-47, and adding claim 50 has been entered by the examiner.
Information Disclosure Statement
The information disclosure statements (IDSs) submitted on 5/30/2024 and 3/06/2025 have been entered and considered by the examiner.
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102
In the event the determination of the status of the application as subject to AIA 35 U.S.C. 102 and 103 (or as subject to pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. 102 and 103) is incorrect, any correction of the statutory basis for the rejection will not be considered a new ground of rejection if the prior art relied upon, and the rationale supporting the rejection, would be the same under either status.
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claims 8 and 50 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Wang (CN111431822) IDS submitted by Applicant with Google translation attached and used for rejection reference.
Regarding claims 8 and 50, Wang teaches a method/electronic device of transmitting a deterministic flow, applied to an egress node of the deterministic flow in a determinist network domain, and (Abstract), comprising:
a processor and a non-transitory machine readable storage medium (Abstract; a network node would necessarily have to have a processor and memory/medium):
receiving and buffering a deterministic flow data packet (Abstract; Pages. 2-3; network node schedules and controls the deterministic delay service, and generates a deterministic delay service information table through a control plane, wherein the table comprises a data flow ID, a faster path delay from the node to a destination node, another slower path delay from the node to the destination node, an end-to-end delay requirement and the like. And when the forwarding plane receives the data packet, entering a corresponding queue according to the deterministic delay service information table and the timestamp information);
based on a current timestamp TSc and a time parameter carried in the deterministic flow data packet, determining a compensation time length Ct corresponding to the deterministic flow data packet (Abstract; Pages. 2-3; a network node selects a forwarding path and sends a time slice to the deterministic service based on the delay requirement and a clock stamp to realize end-to-end deterministic delay. In addition, the network node adjusts the number of forwarding queues and scheduling period parameters according to the forwarding condition of the deterministic delay service, adapts to the transmission of the deterministic delay service, and improves the overall transmission performance; And the deterministic delay service identifier is defined, and information such as an ID, a serial number, a timestamp and the like of the deterministic delay service flow; i.e. the clock stamp reads on the current timestamp TSc and the timestamp reads on the timestamp reads on the time parameter);
based on the Ct, performing latency compensation and scheduling control on the deterministic flow data packet (Abstract; Pages. 2-3; a network node selects a forwarding path and sends a time slice to the deterministic service based on the delay requirement and a clock stamp to realize end-to-end deterministic delay. In addition, the network node adjusts the number of forwarding queues and scheduling period parameters according to the forwarding condition of the deterministic delay service, adapts to the transmission of the deterministic delay service, and improves the overall transmission performance; And the deterministic delay service identifier is defined, and information such as an ID, a serial number, a timestamp and the like of the deterministic delay service flow; i.e. the clock stamp reads on the current timestamp TSc and the timestamp reads on the timestamp reads on the time parameter).
Allowable Subject Matter
Claims 9-12, 14-15, 17, 19, and 21 are allowable except for being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims. Claims 1-7 and 48-49 are allowable.
