The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA .
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102
In the event the determination of the status of the application as subject to AIA 35 U.S.C. 102 and 103 (or as subject to pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. 102 and 103) is incorrect, any correction of the statutory basis (i.e., changing from AIA to pre-AIA ) for the rejection will not be considered a new ground of rejection if the prior art relied upon, and the rationale supporting the rejection, would be the same under either status.
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claim(s) 1 and 10 is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Wang (CN215191259).
1. Wang teaches a self-cleaning maintenance station (Fig. 2), comprising: a self-cleaning maintenance station body (Fig. 7 at 2) comprising a water storage chamber (opening in member 2 in Fig. 7 that holds member 21), and a water storage tank (Fig. 7 at 21) assembled at a top end (top of member 2) of the self-cleaning maintenance station body, wherein the water storage chamber has a semi-enclosed structure (the bottom of the water storage chamber is covered to hold member 21 in Fig. 7), and the water storage chamber, with an opening facing upward and forward (where the top opening on member 2 in Fig. 7 that holds member 21 faces the upward direction and is more forward instead of backward, see the below Fig), is disposed at a top (see the below Fig) of the self-cleaning maintenance station body and is configured to accommodate the water storage tank (Fig. 7 at 21); and the water storage tank (Fig. 7 at 21), after being at least partially inserted into the water storage chamber (Fig. 7), is assembled at the top end (in the below annotated Fig. 7) of the self-cleaning maintenance station body.
10. Wang teaches a self-cleaning system (Fig. 7), comprising: an automatic cleaning device (Fig. 7 at 01), and a self-cleaning maintenance station (Fig. 2), comprising: a self-cleaning maintenance station body (Fig. 7 at 2) comprising a water storage chamber (opening in member 2 in Fig. 7 that holds member 21), and a water storage tank (Fig. 7 at 21) assembled at a top end (top of member 2) of the self-cleaning maintenance station body, wherein the water storage chamber has a semi-enclosed structure (the bottom of the water storage chamber is covered to hold member 21 in Fig. 7), and the water storage chamber, with an opening facing upward and forward (where the top opening on member 2 in Fig. 7 that holds member 21 faces the upward direction and is more forward instead of backward, see the below Fig), is disposed at a top (see the below Fig) of the self-cleaning maintenance station body and is configured to accommodate the water storage tank (Fig. 7 at 21); and the water storage tank (Fig. 7 at 21), after being at least partially inserted into the water storage chamber (Fig. 7), is assembled at the top end (in the below annotated Fig. 7) of the self-cleaning maintenance station body.
Allowable Subject Matter
Claims 2-9 and 11-18 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
