Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claim 1-11 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Smith (US 11,935,423).
Regarding claim 1, Smith discloses a training system comprising cones (col. 5: 51-56) to establish boundaries for training, wherein the user learns proper body placement by practicing movement within the boundaries. See col. 4: 54-63 and col. 6: 8-35. The system can be used for any sport, which would include the boxing specifics as claimed (e.g. footwork, lower body placement, etc.).
Regarding claims 2-6, Smith discloses wherein the cones are movable and can be placed as desired to define movement boundaries. See col. 14: 9-19. This would encompass the forward and lateral cone groups and uses as per claims 3-6.
Regarding claims 7-11, Smith discloses wherein the cones comprise a motion sensing boundary alarm with an audible alert and lamp in col. 6: 20-31 and col. 8: 5-11.
