Regarding claims 1, 54, and 62, Zhou teaches a method for wireless communication, performed by a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless network, the method comprising: receiving, from a primary cell of a first Network Element (NE), a first message comprising configuration information for an assistant / secondary cell (the multicast signaling includes at least one of multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS for short) control signaling and multicast signaling that is sent by a primary cell to the UE and is used for indicating configuration information of a secondary cell, [0265]), wherein the configuration information comprises at least one of following configurations: a downlink frequency; an uplink frequency; a cell identifier; a reference signal configuration; a subcarrier spacing (SCS); a Time Division Duplex (TDD) configuration; a slot configuration; an initial Bandwidth Part (BWP) (receiving, by user equipment, virtual bandwidth configuration information, each virtual bandwidth is a part or all of a downlink maximum available bandwidth or a downlink transmission bandwidth, abstract, When one virtual bandwidth includes at least two discontinuous bandwidth part, [0306]); a Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) resource; a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) resource; and a PDCCH resource for Random Access Response (RAR) message; and wherein the configuration information docs not comprise following configurations: a Broadcast Control Channel (BCCH) resource; or a PDCCH resource for System Information Block (SIB) (note: not mentioned in the reference); and wherein the assistant cell is deployed jointly with the primary cell ([0265]) and is characterized by: the assistant cell does not broadcast system information for the assistant cell (note: not mentioned in the reference); or the assistant cell allows UEs to initiate at least one of: a random access process, a Radio Resource Control (RRC) procedure, and an RRC connection in it (When the UE receives virtual bandwidth configuration information carried in the UE specific signaling, the UE specific signaling includes at least one of UE specific Radio Resource Control (RRC for short) signaling and UE specific signaling that is sent by a primary cell to the UE and is used for indicating configuration information of a secondary cell, [0265]). Regarding claim 2, the first message comprises at least one of: a Radio Resource Control (RRC) message; or a System Information Block (SIB) message (When the UE receives virtual bandwidth configuration information carried in the broadcast signaling, the broadcast signaling is at least one of a MIB and a system information block type 2 (SIB2 for short), [0265]). Regarding claim 6, the assistant cell is further characterized by the assistant cell does not allow UEs to camp on it; or the assistant cell does not broadcast paging message. No mention in the reference of the assistant cell does broadcast paging message. Regarding claim 7, the configuration information does not comprise following configurations: a PCCH resource; [[and]]or a PDCCH resource for paging. No mention in the reference of either. Regarding claim 8, in response to the configuration information not comprising access related information, accessing the assistant cell based on the access related information of the primary cell; and wherein the access related information comprises at least one of: a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) identifier; a Tracking Area Code (TAC); or a reserved cell indication. Note no mention in the reference . Regarding claim 3, Zhou is silent on the assistant cell allows the UEs to camp on it; or the assistant cell broadcasts paging message. Pani teaches the assistant cell allows the UEs to camp on it (For example, the primary cell may broadcast sufficient information regarding a secondary cell that allows the WTRU to connect to and/or camp on the secondary cell, [0057]). Therefore it would have been obvious to one of ordinary skill in the art before the effective filing date of the claimed invention, to modify the system of Zhou by the assistant cell allows the UEs to camp on it, as shown by Pani. This modification would benefit the system by enabling the UE to camp on the assistant cell . Allowable Subject Matter 12-151-08 AIA 07-43 12-51-08 Claim s 4, 5, 9-11, 15-21 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
