DETAILED ACTION
Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status
The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA .
Priority
Acknowledgment is made of applicant’s claim for foreign priority under 35 U.S.C. 119 (a)-(d). The certified copy has been filed in parent Application No. 202310855691.2, filed on July 12, 2023.
Specification
The disclosure is objected to because of the following informalities: the specification in paragraph [0025] recites “the nut 4 can be limited by the limit sleeve 42” which reference to the wrong number – 42 is the limit groove.
Appropriate correction is required.
Claim Objections
Claim 3 is objected to because of the following informalities: Claim 3 recites the limitation "wherein a fixture block is slidably connected.” Claim 1 already recites “a fixture block.” Claim 3 should be changed to –the fixture block--. Appropriate correction is required.
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 112
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112(b):
(b) CONCLUSION.—The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor regards as the invention.
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), second paragraph:
The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the applicant regards as his invention.
Claim 1 recites “a stably-connected embedded bolt” but positively recites a mounting plate, a nut, and a limit sleeve. It is unclear whether the claimed device is the bolt alone or the entire assembly.
Claims 1 and 2 recite “comes into contact with” in lines 3, 9, and 10 of claim 1 and lines 2-3 of claim 2 which are indefinite. It is unclear whether this requires permanent engagement or merely capability of abutment. The claims are interpreted to being capable of abutment.
Claim 4 recites two limit sleeves symmetrically distributed on the mounting plate. However, claim 1 recites a single bolt, a single nut, and a limit sleeve disposed on the outer side of the bolt. It is unclear whether both limit sleeves of claim 4 are disposed on the same bolt or where claim 4 is intended to require two separate bolt assemblies as shown in Figs. 1 and 2.
Claim 5 recites “the limit groove is slidably sleeved on the nut” which is indefinite. A groove cannot “sleeved on” another component. The sleeve may be fitted over the nut or the nut may be received in a groove. Suggested correction is –wherein the limit sleeve defines a limit groove configured to slidably receive the nut--.
Claim 6 recites “each of the limit sleeves” (plural) However, claim 6 depends directly from claim 1, which recites “a limit sleeve” (singular). The plural expression “the limit sleeves” in claim 6 therefore lacks antecedent basis making it unclear how many limit sleeves are required. Claim 6 is suggested to depend on --claim 4--.
Allowable Subject Matter
Claims 1-6 would be allowable if rewritten or amended to overcome the rejection(s) under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), 2nd paragraph, set forth in this Office action.
The following is a statement of reasons for the indication of allowable subject matter:
With regards to claim 1, CN-111207144-A to Zhang (Guo-cai) discloses an embedded bolt assembly in the second embodiment in Figs. 3-4 comprising a limit plate 2 with a sliding groove 24 and a slide rod 12 and spring 10. However, Zhang (Guo-cai), considered individually or in combination, does not teaches or suggests the claimed embedded bolt assembly having a mounting plate provided with a fixture groove, a bolt provided with a limit plate, a slide block slidably connected to the limit plate, a slide rod connected to the slide block and extending through the limit plate, a spring associated with the slide rod, and a fixture block fixedly connected to the slide block such that movement of the slide block and spring permits the future block to engage the future groove and retain he bolt relative to the mounting plate.
Claims 2-6 are allowable because of their dependence from allowable claim 1 and because they further limit the claimed assembly.
Conclusion
The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to applicant's disclosure.
KR-20190134153-A to Ryu, CN-119084812-A to Jia and CN-117267236-A to Shan disclose an anti-rotation device for a bolt having a spring-biased latch.
CN-120273971-A to Zeng disclose a fixing plate with spring-biased latch that goes into a groove on a mounting plate.
CN-111503122-A to Zhang (Yun-sheng) disclose a bolt with anti-rotational fixtures.
