Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 112
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112(b):
(b) CONCLUSION.—The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor regards as the invention.
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), second paragraph:
The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the applicant regards as his invention.
Claims 2-3 rejected under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), second paragraph, as being indefinite for failing to particularly point out and distinctly claim the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor (or for applications subject to pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. 112, the applicant), regards as the invention.
Claim 2 recites the limitation "corresponding memory arrays" in line 3. There is insufficient antecedent basis for this limitation in the claim. For purposes of examination this will be interpreted as “corresponding memory arrays of the one or more memory arrays”.
Claim 3 recites the limitation "corresponding memory arrays" in line 4. There is insufficient antecedent basis for this limitation in the claim. For purposes of examination this will be interpreted as “corresponding memory arrays of the one or more memory arrays”.
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:

Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(2) the claimed invention was described in a patent issued under section 151, or in an application for patent published or deemed published under section 122(b), in which the patent or application, as the case may be, names another inventor and was effectively filed before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claim(s) 1, 7, 10, and 14 is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(2) as being anticipated by Parekh (US 2023/0143455).
The applied reference has a common assignee with the instant application. Based upon the earlier effectively filed date of the reference, it constitutes prior art under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(2). This rejection under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(2) might be overcome by: (1) a showing under 37 CFR 1.130(a) that the subject matter disclosed in the reference was obtained directly or indirectly from the inventor or a joint inventor of this application and is thus not prior art in accordance with 35 U.S.C. 102(b)(2)(A); (2) a showing under 37 CFR 1.130(b) of a prior public disclosure under 35 U.S.C. 102(b)(2)(B) if the same invention is not being claimed; or (3) a statement pursuant to 35 U.S.C. 102(b)(2)(C) establishing that, not later than the effective filing date of the claimed invention, the subject matter disclosed in the reference and the claimed invention were either owned by the same person or subject to an obligation of assignment to the same person or subject to a joint research agreement.

Claim 14, Parekh discloses (see annotated Fig. 1 above) the semiconductor apparatus of claim 10, wherein the second vertical connector (126) has a cross-sectional shape with two or more arcs (cross-section slice of top of 126 is a circle shape which can be considered a combination of two arcs).
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 103
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 103 which forms the basis for all obviousness rejections set forth in this Office action:
A patent for a claimed invention may not be obtained, notwithstanding that the claimed invention is not identically disclosed as set forth in section 102, if the differences between the claimed invention and the prior art are such that the claimed invention as a whole would have been obvious before the effective filing date of the claimed invention to a person having ordinary skill in the art to which the claimed invention pertains. Patentability shall not be negated by the manner in which the invention was made.
Claim(s) 6 and 13 is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 103 as being unpatentable over Parekh (US 2023/0143455) as applied to claims 1 and 10 above, and further in view of Lee (US 2012/0285481)
Claim 6, Parekh discloses (see annotated Fig. 1 above) the semiconductor device assembly of claim 1, wherein the plurality of second vertical electrical connectors (deep contact structure 126) have a length (126 has a length). Parekh does not explicitly disclose wherein the second diameter of the second vertical electrical connectors is associated with the length to form an aspect ratio of the second vertical electrical connectors being 10:1 or less. However, Lee discloses forming deep contact with an aspect ratio of 4:1 or smaller (Para [0010]). Therefore it would have been obvious to one of ordinary skill in the art before the effective filing date of the claimed invention to apply the aspect ratio of Lee to the deep contact structure of Parekh as an aspect ratio 4:1 or smaller will result in a simpler cleaning process during manufacturing (Lee, Para [0010]). Claim 13, Parekh discloses (see annotated Fig. 1 above) the semiconductor apparatus of claim 10. Parekh does not explicitly disclose wherein the second vertical connector has an aspect ratio being 10:1 or less.
Allowable Subject Matter
Claims 2-3 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten to overcome the 112 rejections above and in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
The following is a statement of reasons for the indication of allowable subject matter: the closest prior art of record, Liu (US 2020/0266207), Parekh (US 2023/0143455), Lee (US 2012/0285481), fail to disclose (by themselves or in combination) the following limitations in combination with the rest of the claim:
Regarding Claim 2 (from which claim 3 depends), wherein at least one of the plurality of second vertical electrical connectors is connected to a corresponding SRC.
Claims 4-5 and 11-12 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten to overcome the 112 rejections above and in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
Regarding Claim 4, wherein the second diameter of the plurality of second vertical electrical connectors is greater than the first diameter of the plurality of first vertical electrical connectors by a factor of 2 or greater.
