DETAILED ACTION Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA . Priority Receipt is acknowledged of papers submitted under 35 U.S.C. 119(a)-(d), which papers have been placed of record in the file. Information Disclosure Statement The information disclosure statement (IDS) submitted on 11/19/2024, 09/10/2025, and 01/27/2026 has been considered by the examiner. Election/Restrictions Claims 1-12 withdrawn from further consideration pursuant to 37 CFR 1.142(b) as being drawn to a nonelected invention, there being no allowable generic or linking claim. Election was made without traverse in the reply filed on 02/11/2026. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – (a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. Claim(s) 13 is rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102 a1 as being anticipated by Lu et al. (CN 114373396, machine translation). Lu discloses a splicing display panel (Figure 1 and corresponding text) (100), comprising: (Figure 1) at least two spliced first display modules (101 or 1011) wherein there is a seam (G) between two of the first display modules(1011) which are adjacent and spliced, each of the first display modules (1011) comprises a display area (1101a) and a bezel area arranged outside the display area(π58), a portion (1011b) of the first display module(1011) corresponding to the bezel area (no number)is provided with an accommodating slot(103 connector), an opening of the accommodating slot is arranged on a side of the bezel area close to the seam (G), and the opening of the accommodating slot (no number) is communicated with the seam (G); and in two adjacent first display modules (1011), the accommodating slot( where 103 is ) of one of the first display modules is spliced with the accommodating slot of another one of the first display modules (1011)to form an accommodating cavity (no number); at least one second display module(102) arranged in the accommodating cavity, wherein the second display module(102) covers the seam (π27). magnetic member(Figure 2); and a magnetic metal layer (1053)(π49-π60) Allowable Subject Matter Claim 14 is objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims. Claims 15-20 are objected to due to their dependence upon claim 14. Conclusion The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to applicant's disclosure.
