Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status
The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA .
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claims 10-19 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a1) as being anticipated by
Moderator (INTEL CORPORATION). Summary#2 of AI: 8.1.2.4 Enhancements on HST- 1-6 SFN deployment[online]. 3GPP TSG RAN WG1 #107-e R1-2112660. 20 November 2021, Internet pp. 1, 68-81.
For independent claim 10, Moderator (INTEL CORPORATION) discloses a system/method discloses a system/method comprising :
a receiver that receives configuration information for radio link monitoring (RLM) ( See page 1 and 68-81), and an RLM-reference signal (RS) based on the configuration information; and a processor that, when a single frequency network (SFN) scheme is configured and the RLM- RS is not configured( See page 1 and 68-81), selects, as the RLM-RS, an RS corresponding to a control resource set (CORESET) determined based on a specific rule( See page 1 and 68-81).
a terminal comprising: a receiving section that receives a reference signal (RS); and a control section that, when a single frequency network (SFN) scheme is configured and at least one of a radio link failure (radio link monitoring (RLM))-RS and a beam failure detection (BFD)-RS is not configured ( See page 1 and 68-81), selects the RS corresponding to a control resource set (CORESET) determined based on a specific rule as at least one of the RLM-RS and the BFD-RS( See page 1 and 68-81).
For independent claims 17-19 are rejected for the same reason as indicated in claim 10.
For dependent claims 11-16,, Moderator (INTEL CORPORATION) also discloses wherein the specific rule includes the CORESET corresponding to an SFN being preferentially determined over the CORESET not corresponding to the SFN( See page 1 and 68-81); wherein the specific rule includes the CORESET whose monitoring periodicity of a corresponding search space set is short being preferentially determined( See page 1 and 68-81);wherein the specific rule includes the CORESET having a large CORE SET ID being preferentially determined. ( See page 1 and 68-81); and . wherein the configuration information includes information of a purpose of the RLM( See page 1 and 68-81).
The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to applicant's disclosure.
Matsumura et al. (2024/0121850) is cited to show a system which is considered pertinent to the claimed invention.
