DETAILED ACTION The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA . This Action is responsive to the Application filed on 8/6/2024. Claims 1-19 and 23 are pending in the case. Specification The title of the invention is not descriptive. A new title is required that is clearly indicative of the invention to which the claims are directed. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 In the event the determination of the status of the application as subject to AIA 35 U.S.C. 102 and 103 (or as subject to pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. 102 and 103) is incorrect, any correction of the statutory basis (i.e., changing from AIA to pre-AIA ) for the rejection will not be considered a new ground of rejection if the prior art relied upon, and the rationale supporting the rejection, would be the same under either status. (a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. Claims 1, 5-12, 18-19, and 23 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Jang et al. (US 20160313869 A1, hereinafter Jang). As to independent claim 1, Jang teaches a display method, wherein the method comprises: displaying, by an electronic device (watch 200), a first interface in a first region of a display (Fig. 7, watch image 710); receiving, by the electronic device, a first operation (“receiving a preset gesture input through a main body of the smart watch 200” paragraph 0144); and in response to the first operation, displaying, by the electronic device, a second interface in a second region of the display (“the smart watch 200 may reduce a watch image” paragraph 0146, Fig. 7), and displaying-a third interface in a third region of the display, wherein reminder tags corresponding to one or more schedule items are displayed on the third interface (“upon receiving a preset gesture input through a main body of the smart watch 200, the smart watch 200 may enter a moving circle mode for effectively displaying predetermined notification information. For example, as illustrated in (a) and (b) of FIGS. 7, upon receiving a gesture input 720 of touching and dragging a bezel portion of a main body 201 or a gesture input 730 of tapping a portion of the main body 201 a predetermined number of times, the smart watch 200 may enter a moving circle mode.” Paragraph 0144-0145, Fig. 8, notification events 820,830 displayed in an empty circular space of the display), wherein the second region and the first region have a same central point, the third region is a ring region surrounding a periphery of the second region, and the third region does not overlap the second region (“the smart watch 200 may reduce a watch image, display the reduced watch image in a central portion or an edge portion of a display, and display notification information in a surrounding region of the reduced watch image.” Paragraph 0146). As to dependent claim 5, Jang teaches the method according to claim 1, Jang further teaches wherein the first operation is a pinch-in operation that is performed on the first interface (“It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the smart watch 200 may enter a moving circle mode using various gesture inputs other than the illustrated gesture inputs 720 and 730.” Paragraph 0145), or the first operation is an operation performed on a crown of the electronic device.
