Office Action

§102
DETAILED ACTION Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status 1. The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA . 2. This Office Action is in response to the Preliminary Amendment filed on 12/09/2024. 3. Claims 1-13 and 19-25 are pending. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – (a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. 4. Claims 1, 14 and 20 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Zhong et al (US 20170277561 A1). Zhong et al (“Zhong”) is directed to Operating System Hot-Switching Method And Apparatus And Mobile Terminal. As per claim 1, Zhong discloses an interface displaying method, comprising: determining a current operation state of a terminal device, wherein the operation state comprises any one of ([0057] At the kernel layer, a node that multiple operating systems need to use is established, and a corresponding node interface is provided to the outside, such as an interface used to obtain a current foreground operating system or an interface used to determine whether an operating system is being switched currently. 0158] Optionally, in an embodiment, the processor 780 is further configured to determine, from a global resource linked list, the resource management namespace of the second operating system according to the identifier of the second operating system, where the global resource linked list includes a correspondence between an identifier of an operating system and a resource management namespace of the operating system); a first state in which a first operating system is constantly running in a foreground ([0006] a current foreground operating system is a first operating system,) a second state in which only a second operating system is running ([0006] the at least one background operating system includes a second operating system), and a third state in which the terminal device is operating by switching between the first operating system and the second operating system; ([0006] and the method includes obtaining an operating system switching instruction, where the operating system switching instruction includes an identifier of the second operating system and a switching identifier, and the identifier of the second operating system is used to instruct to switch the second operating system to the foreground operating system, also see [0086] and [0092]); and drawing an interface based on a displaying effect corresponding to the current operation state and displaying the drawn interface ([0149] Subsequently, the processor 780 provides corresponding visual output on the display panel 741 according to the touch event type. In FIG. 15, although the touch panel 731 and the display panel 741 are used as two independent parts to implement input and output functions of the mobile terminal, in some embodiments, the touch panel 731 and the display panel 741 may be integrated to implement the input and output functions of the mobile terminal). Further supportive citations for the above claimed limitations are also shown in several paragraphs including Pars. [0014, 0022, 0024, 0066, 0087, 0106, 0107, 0127 and 0156]). As per terminal device claim 19, Zhong disclose a terminal device (see Fig. 15), since the limitations cited in device claim 19 correspond to method claim 1. The device claim is also rejected under similar citations given to method claim 1. As per computer-readable storage medium claim 20, Zhong disclose a computer-readable storage medium (see memory 605, Fig. 14, memory 720, Fig. 15), since the limitations cited in storage medium claim 20 correspond to method claim 1. The medium claim is also rejected under similar citations given to method claim 1. Allowable Subject Matter 5. Claims 2-13 and 21-25 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims. Conclusion 6. The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to applicant's disclosure. US 20170344100 A1 - Electronic device and control method of the electronic device are provided. The method includes detecting a cumin temperature of the electronic device. In response to the current temperature matching a first condition, the method controls an app at the electronic device to switch from a first running state to a second running state. In response to the current temperature matching a second condition, the method controls currently-operating components at the electronic device to switch from a first operating state to a second operating state. The disclosed control method and electronic device ensure the normal operation of the electronic device and the regular user experience in using the electronic device (Abstract). US 20200098081 A1 – This disclosure relates to a display resource scheduling method and device for an embedded system, a computer readable storage medium and an electronic device. The embodiment of the present disclosure provides a display resource scheduling method for an embedded system, at least a host operating system and a first guest operating system running on the embedded system, and the embedded system including a graphics processing unit and a display-specific hardware accelerator. The method includes: receiving a graphic to be displayed of the first guest operating system; preferentially scheduling the display-specific hardware accelerator to perform a display operation on the graphic to be displayed; if resources of the display-specific hardware accelerator are exhausted, scheduling the graphics processing unit to perform a display operation on the graphic to be displayed. 7.
