Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 112
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112(b):
(b) CONCLUSION.—The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor regards as the invention.
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), second paragraph:
The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the applicant regards as his invention.
Claims 2-6, 8-9 and 12-13 rejected under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), second paragraph, as being indefinite for failing to particularly point out and distinctly claim the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor (or for applications subject to pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. 112, the applicant), regards as the invention.
For example, claim 2 recites:

The claim states, “...each frame of the data sent by the transmitter comprises multiple data bits, each of the data bits being set to a first signal value or a second signal value, a check bit being set at a position adjacent to each of the data bits, and each check bit being set as a signal value the same or different from the corresponding data bit…”
It is not clear if the each of the data bits in the frame are set to the same first or second value.
The claim can be interpreted in multiple ways.
In other words, the frame can be, for example, 0000, 1111 or any combination of 0s and 1s.
Essential elements are missing from the claims.
Dependent claims 3-6, 8-9 and 12-13 are rejected at least based on dependency.
Corrections are requested.
