DETAILED ACTION
The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA .
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 112
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112(b):
(b) CONCLUSION.—The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor regards as the invention.
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), second paragraph:
The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the applicant regards as his invention.
Claims 1-22 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), second paragraph, as being indefinite for failing to particularly point out and distinctly claim the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor (or for applications subject to pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. 112, the applicant), regards as the invention.
Claim 1 recites “displaying a resource panel on a live-stream room page, wherein the resource panel comprises multiple first resource options and a resource pack control; displaying a multi-resource edit window in response to a triggering operation on the resource pack control, wherein the multi-resource edit window comprises multiple second resource options and a sending control, and the multiple second resource options comprise at least one first resource option” at lines 2-7. This limitation is vague because it is unclear if the “at least one first resource option” of claims 6-7 is intended to be one of the “multiple first resource options” of line 3, or if it is intended to be a different option. Additionally, the claim recites “determining multiple resources to be processed corresponding to at least one target option in response to a triggering operation on the at least one target option of the multiple second resource options” at lines 8-9. There is a lack of antecedent basis for “the at least one target option of the multiple second resource options”, and it is unclear if the limitation is intended to refer back to the “at least one target option” of line 8.
Claims 14-15 have issues similar to those of claim 1, and are rejected for the same reasons as those of claim 1. Additionally, there is a lack of antecedent basis for “the resource pack control” limitation of claim 14.
Dependent claims 2-12 and 17-22 are rejected as incorporating the deficiencies of the claims upon which they depend. Additionally, several dependent claims have limitations that are vague because it is unclear if the limitations refer to previously claimed limitations or new, different limitations.
Conclusion
The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to applicant's disclosure: He (US20210044640), Alvarez (US20190080375).
