DETAILED ACTION Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA . Priority Receipt is acknowledged of certified copies of papers required by 37 CFR 1.55. Information Disclosure Statement The information disclosure statement (IDS) submitted on 03/27/2025 and 11/24/2025 were considered by the examiner. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 In the event the determination of the status of the application as subject to AIA 35 U.S.C. 102 and 103 (or as subject to pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. 102 and 103) is incorrect, any correction of the statutory basis (i.e., changing from AIA to pre-AIA ) for the rejection will not be considered a new ground of rejection if the prior art relied upon, and the rationale supporting the rejection, would be the same under either status. The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – (a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. Claim(s) 1, 2, 17, and 18 are is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Jung (6421231). With respect to claim 1, Jung discloses a display (30, 40), comprising a housing assembly (10, 50, 60), wherein the housing assembly comprises a housing (10, 50, 60) and a first reinforcing member (73, 93), the housing comprises a bottom plate (10), the bottom plate (10) comprises a first edge (bottom of 10, see figure 3) and a second edge (top of 10, see figure 3) that are opposite to each other and a third edge (12, 12’) connected between the first edge (bottom of 10, see figure 3) and the second edge (top of 10, see figure 3), the bottom plate (10) further comprises an inner surface, the first reinforcing member (73, 93) is disposed on the inner surface of the bottom plate (10), the first reinforcing member (73, 93) comprises a first extension portion (72, 92), and the first extension portion (72, 92) is located at the third edge (12, 12’) and extends along the third edge (12, 12’); and a screen (32, 42), wherein the screen (32, 42) is located on a side facing the inner surface, the first extension portion (72, 92) is located between the screen (32, 42) and the bottom plate (10), the screen (32, 42) comprises a display panel, at least a part of a projection of the first extension portion (72, 92) on the bottom plate (10) is located within a projection of the display panel on the bottom plate (10), see for example figures 3 5C. With respect to claim 2, Jung discloses the display according to claim 1, wherein the first reinforcing member (72, 92) further comprises a second extension portion (71, 91), and the second extension portion (71, 91) is connected to an end of the first extension portion (72, 92) facing the first edge (bottom of 10, see figure 3) and extends along the first edge (bottom of 10, see figure 3). With respect to claim 17, Jung discloses an electronic device ( 200, 300), comprising a host (150), a rotating shaft (16, 152), and a display (30, 40); wherein the display (30, 40) comprises a housing assembly (10, 110, 120) and a screen (32, 42); the housing assembly (10, 110, 120) comprises a housing and a first reinforcing member (73, 93), the housing comprises a bottom plate (10), the bottom plate (10) comprises a first edge (bottom of 10, see figure 3) and a second edge (top of 10, see figure 3) that are opposite to each other and a third edge (12, 12’) connected between the first edge (bottom of 10, see figure 3) and the second edge (top of 10, see figure 3) , the bottom plate (10) further comprises an inner surface, the first reinforcing member (73, 93) is disposed on the inner surface of the bottom plate (10), the first reinforcing member (73, 93) comprises a first extension portion (72, 92), and the first extension portion (72, 92) is located at the third edge (12, 12’) and extends along the third edge (12, 12’); the screen (32, 42) is located on a side facing the inner surface, the first extension portion (72, 92) is located between the screen (32, 42) and the bottom plate (10), the screen (32, 42) comprises a display panel, at least a part of a projection of the first extension portion (72, 92) on the bottom plate (10) is located within a projection of the display panel on the bottom plate (10); and the display (32, 42) is rotatably connected to the host (150) via the rotating shaft (16, 152). With respect to claim 18, Jung discloses the electronic device (200, 300) according to claim 17, wherein the first reinforcing member (72, 92) further comprises a second extension portion (71, 91), and the second extension portion (71, 91) is connected to an end of the first extension portion (72, 92) facing the first edge (bottom of 10, see figure 3) and extends along the first edge (bottom of 10, see figure 3). Allowable Subject Matter Claims 3-16, 19, and 20 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims. The following is a statement of reasons for the indication of allowable subject matter: as to claims 3-16, 19, and 20, patentability resides, at least in part, the each and every limitations as presently claimed in combination with all of the other limitations of the base claim(s) respectfully.
