Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
(a)(2) the claimed invention was described in a patent issued under section 151, or in an application for patent published or deemed published under section 122(b), in which the patent or application, as the case may be, names another inventor and was effectively filed before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claims 1-4 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Ho et al. (KR102130293B1).
Regarding claim 1, Ho discloses a vehicle overhead console (OHC) bracket comprising a bracket body (100) installed on a surface, which faces a roof panel (figs 1-5), at an edge of an opening (O) formed in a headliner (H) (figs 1-5), wherein a support (110) is integrally formed to protrude from at least a portion of an edge of the bracket body to support a (wiring (W) installed along a periphery of the bracket body 100) (figs 1-5), and the support is formed to protrude from a front edge of the bracket body (100) positioned at an edge of the headliner (H) (figs 1-5).
Regarding claim 2, Ho further discloses a surface (surface of 110, fig 3) of the support is formed to be inclined at 5 to 20° toward a front edge of the headliner with respect to a horizontal plane in a state in which the headliner is mounted so that an adhesive is prevented from flowing down to the headliner (figs 1-5).
Regarding claim 3, Ho further discloses that the support has a stopper (111) formed at an edge thereof to prevent the wiring from being detached from the support (figs 1-5).
Regarding claim 4, Ho further discloses that the support has a stopper (111) formed at an edge thereof to prevent the wiring from being detached from the support (110) (figs 1-5).
