DETAILED ACTION
Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status
The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA .
This action is in response to the filing of 11/27/2024. Claims 1-20 are pending and have been considered below.
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 101
35 U.S.C. 101 reads as follows:
Whoever invents or discovers any new and useful process, machine, manufacture, or composition of matter, or any new and useful improvement thereof, may obtain a patent therefor, subject to the conditions and requirements of this title.
Claim 20 is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 101 because the claimed invention is directed to non-statutory subject matter.
In claim 20, a "computer-readable medium" is being recited; the broadest reasonable interpretation of a claim drawn to a computer readable medium typically covers forms of non-transitory tangible media and transitory propagating signals per se in view of the ordinary and customary meaning of computer readable media. Therefore, a transitory computer readable medium would reasonably be interpreted by one of ordinary skill in the art as signal, per se. Thus, this subject matter "computer-readable medium" is not limited to that which falls within a statutory category of invention because it is limited to a process, machine, manufacture, or a composition of matter. Signal per se is a function descriptive material and a function descriptive material is non-statutory subject matter.
Allowable Subject Matter
Claims 1-19 are allowable over the prior art of record.
Prior art references considered related not relied upon are as below:

Ramachandran et al. (US 2025/0184689) discloses a configuration and management of ranging constellations in wireless networks.
Sinharoy et al. (US 2024/0085511) discloses a system and method for determining UWB beacon pole locations for extended service areas of a robot.
Bao et al. (US 11,647,480) discloses a system and method for positioning with geographically-similar anchors including a mobile anchor.
The prior art of record does not disclose system and method for wireless communication at first UE communicate with a second UE, an anchor device to be used for tracking a position of the second UE, obtain based on a first reference frame of the first UE and second reference frame of the second UE, two different sets of coordinates of the anchor device with respect to the first/second reference frame, two sets of coordinates of a gravity vector with respect to the reference frames, third sets of coordinates of a magnetic north vector with respect to the reference frames, and two sets of displacements of the UEs, and then based on these coordinates and displacements estimate the position of the second UE.
The prior art references taken alone or in combination, disclose, fail to disclose and used in combination with each and every limitation of the claims. The aspects assummarized above are neither anticipated nor obviated by the prior art of record.
