Priority Receipt is acknowledged of certified copies of papers required by 37 CFR 1.55. Information Disclosure Statement The information disclosure statement (IDS) submitted on 12/16/2024 was considered by the examiner. Drawings The drawings filed on 12/16/2024 are acceptable for examination by the examiner. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – (a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. (a)(2) the claimed invention was described in a patent issued under section 151, or in an application for patent published or deemed published under section 122(b), in which the patent or application, as the case may be, names another inventor and was effectively filed before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. Claim(s) 1-2 and 10-11 is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by MATSUMURA (US 2022/0035290 A1). MATSUMURA teaches regarding claim 1, an electronic apparatus comprising: a sensor 240 to output sensor values; and processing circuitry configured to: retrieve time series data obtained by collecting the sensor values from the sensor over time; detect an abnormality based on the retrieved time series data and a predetermined rule determined in advance; input the retrieved time series data to a learned model that defines the time series data as input data and information indicating a type of the abnormality as output data; obtain the information indicating the type of the abnormality from the learned model; and control operation of the electronic apparatus based on the information indicating the type of the abnormality (figures 5-7; [0068, 0094-0095]). Regarding claim 2, the processing circuitry detects the abnormality, the processing circuitry is configured to interrupt operation of the electronic apparatus S711 [0068]. Regarding claim 10, an anomaly detection system comprising: an information processing device to generate a learned model; and an electronic apparatus including: a sensor 240 to output sensor values; and processing circuitry configured to: retrieve time series data obtained by collecting the sensor values from the sensor over time; detect an abnormality based on the retrieved time series data and a predetermined rule determined in advance; send the time series data to the information processing device in a case that the processing circuitry detects the abnormality; input the time series data to the learned model that defines the time series data as input data and information indicating a type of the abnormality as output data; obtain the information indicating the type of the abnormality from the learned model; and control operation of the electronic apparatus based on the information indicating the type of the abnormality (figure 7; [0068, 0094-0095]). Regarding claim 11, an anomaly detection method performed by an electronic apparatus, the anomaly detection method comprising: retrieving time series data obtained by collecting sensor values output from a sensor over time; detecting an abnormality based on the retrieved time series data and a predetermined rule determined in advance; inputting the retrieved time series data to a learned model that defines the time series data as input data and information indicating a type of the abnormality as output data; obtaining the information indicating the type of the abnormality from the learned model; and controlling operation of the electronic apparatus based on the obtained information indicating the type of the abnormality (figure 7; [0068, 0094-0095]). Allowable Subject Matter Claims 3-9 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims. Prior Art The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to applicant's disclosure. SHOJI et al. and NAKAZATO et al. teach time series methods.
