A suitcase handle with weighing and displaying functions. The suitcase handle comprises a gripper (1), an installation box (2), a measurement unit (3) arranged in the installation box (2), and a display unit (29) arranged on the installation box (2), wherein the bottom of the installation box (2) is fixed to a suitcase body; a side of the installation box (2) is connected to the gripper (1); and the measurement unit (3) cooperates with the display unit (29). The suitcase handle with weighing and displaying functions has a simple structure and can also effectively save on manufacturing costs.
The grip 1 is connected between the two installation boxes 2.
The mounting base 16 is fixed to the trunk body by riveting.
Regarding claim 1, Wang teaches a suitcase handle capable of displaying weight, comprising a grip (1), a mounting box (2), a measuring unit (3) arranged in the mounting box, and a display unit (29) arranged on the mounting box, wherein the mounting box is configured to be fixed to a body of a suitcase; a first connecting slot (35) is provided on the measuring unit; the grip is connected to the measuring unit by a connecting rod (34) passing through the first connecting slot, and the connecting rod is configured to abut against an edge of the first connecting slot (35) after the grip is lifted and moved for a first distance, so as to exert a pulling force on the measuring unit; a guide slot (41) for guiding the connecting rod is provided on a side of the mounting box; and the guide slot comprises an inclined upward section (note 41 comprises a triangular slot and the inclined portion the hypotenuse portion in fig. 9), the connecting rod, after moving for the first distance, is located between a bottom end and a top end of the inclined upward section, and a pull gap allowing a hand to pass through is formed between the grip and the body of the suitcase.
Regarding claim 2, note the guide slot further comprises a horizontal section (note 41 comprises a triangular slot and there is a horizontal portion in fig. 9) in communication with the inclined upward section, the horizontal section is adjacent to a bottom of the mounting box (2), and the connecting rod (34) is configured to be located in the horizontal section before the grip is pulled (note fig. 9).
Regarding claim 3, note the mounting box (2) comprises a mounting base plate (16), a mounting cover (17), a transparent window (13) adapted to the display unit and a connecting opening (22) are provided on the mounting cover, the mounting cover covers the measuring unit, and the grip (1) extends through the connecting opening (22) into the mounting box and is connected to the measuring unit.
Regarding claim 4, note the measuring unit comprises a conversion assembly (4), a connecting member (5) and a tension spring (6), which are configured for measurement conversion, wherein the connecting member (5) is provided at one end of the mounting base plate (fig. 4) of a U-shaped structure (fig. 10), and a bottom portion of the connecting member (5) faces another end of the mounting base plate (16); each of two sides of the connecting member is provided with the first connecting slot (35) corresponding to the guide slot, and the connecting rod (34) is arranged in the first connecting slots; each of two sides of the connecting member (5) is located between the mounting box and the grip; the bottom portion of the connecting member is hinged to one end of the tension spring (6 see fig. 4), and an other end of the tension spring is fixed to the mounting base plate (at 18 fig. 4); and the tension spring is configured to reset the connecting member.
Regarding claims 8, 11, 12, and 13 note the pair of mounting boxes which are mounted on the suitcase (cited above), and the display unit is provided on one of the pair of mounting boxes in fig. 1.
Regarding claim 10, note the body of suitcase cited above.
Regarding claims 17, 18, 19, and 20 note the suitcase handle of Wang capable of displaying weight.
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 103
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 103 which forms the basis for all obviousness rejections set forth in this Office action:
A patent for a claimed invention may not be obtained, notwithstanding that the claimed invention is not identically disclosed as set forth in section 102, if the differences between the claimed invention and the prior art are such that the claimed invention as a whole would have been obvious before the effective filing date of the claimed invention to a person having ordinary skill in the art to which the claimed invention pertains. Patentability shall not be negated by the manner in which the invention was made.
Claims 7, 9, and 16 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 103 as being unpatentable over Wang in view of Guan (10145724).

The standard package comprises a lifting arrangement 2, a case surface 4, and a stressed plate 5 arranged below the case surface 4.
Regarding claim 7, Wang meets all claimed limitations except for the holding portion being semi-circular. Guan teaches that it is known in the art to provide the holding portion being semi-circular (at 21 similar to that of applicant’s disclosed semi-circular holding portion). It would have been obvious to one of ordinary skill in the art before the effective filing date to provide a connection with the holding portion being semi-circular to provide an alternative connection to the weighting unit.
Regarding claim 9, Wang meets all claimed limitations except for the embedding of the base in a suitcase. Guan teaches that it is known in the art to embed the base of a weight device in a suitcase (note the weight is below case surface 4). It would have been obvious to one of ordinary skill in the art before the effective filing date to embed the base of a weight device in a suitcase as taught by Guan to provide a smooth appearance.
Regarding claim 16, note the pair of mounting boxes which are mounted on the suitcase (cited above), and the display unit is provided on one of the pair of mounting boxes in Wang.
Claims 5, 6, 14, and 15 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
