DETAILED ACTION
This communication is a first office action on the merits. Claims 1-9, as originally filed are currently pending and have been considered below.
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claim(s) 1, 8 and 9 is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Pummer (US 3,404,437).
Regarding claim 1, Plummer discloses an apparatus comprising a first clamping plate (31), a second clamping plate (24), and an elastic pin assembly (33, 35, 36), wherein the first clamping plate is extended towards the second clamping plate to form a connecting part (30), and the second clamping plate is pivotally connected to the connecting part, thereby enabling the second clamping plate to rotate relative to the first clamping plate to provide a clamping position and a releasing position (Column 3, lines 39-43 describe the jaw is open and closed); the connecting part is provided with a locking hole (37), the elastic pin assembly is located on the second clamping plate, and the elastic pin assembly has a movable pin (distal end of 35) used for locking; when the second clamping plate is in the clamping position, the pin is inserted into the locking hole to lock a rotation between the first clamping plate and the second clamping plate, and the pin is withdrawn from the locking hole to allow the first clamping plate to rotate relative to the second clamping plate (Column 3, lines 39-43 describe an insertion and withdrawal of the pin).
Regarding claim 8, Plummer further discloses wherein the first clamping plate is provided with a loop (Fig. 2 shows wherein 31 is formed as a loop about 32).
Regarding claim 9, Plummer further discloses wherein the second clamping plate is pivotally connected to the connecting part through a pivot shaft (32).
Allowable Subject Matter
Claims 2-7 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
The following is a statement of reasons for the indication of allowable subject matter: Plummer and the prior art of record fails to anticipate or make obvious a quick-detachable zipper slider wherein an elastic assembly further comprises a guide rod wherein the pin is slidably arranged on the guide in combination with the limitations in claim 2. Plummer and the prior art of record further fails to disclose symmetrically provided left and right protruding blocks in combination with the limitations in claim 7.
Conclusion
The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to applicant's disclosure.
Morin (US 2,792,611) for a removable slider with pivoting action.
Simpson (US 2,779,988) for a removable slider with a resilient member.
Levi (US 9,554,627) for a removable slider with pivoting action.
