Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 112
2. Claims 1-17 rejected under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), second paragraph, as being indefinite for failing to particularly point out and distinctly claim the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor (or for applications subject to pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. 112, the applicant), regards as the invention.
3. In claim 1, lines 7, the phrase, “base. The” should be replaced with --base, the-- to be consistent with correct claim language structuring and clarity.
4. In claim 1, lines 10, the phrase, “connected into a whole” should be replaced with
--connected into a hole-- to be consistent with correct language structuring and clarity.
5. In claim 2, lines 4-5, the phrase, “the light shield” is confusing and appears to lack antecedent basis. Should the phrase, “the light shield” be replaced with the phrase, --the light-blocking sheet-- for claim language consistency and clarity? Claim 2 depends from claim 1 and claim 1 sets forth --a light blocking sheet--.
6. In claim 5, lines 3, the phrase, “the light-blocking plate” is confusing and appears to lack antecedent basis. Should the phrase, “the light-blocking plate” be replaced with the phrase, --the light-blocking sheet-- for claim language consistency and clarity?
7. In claim 8, lines 2, the phrase, “the inner limit projection” is confusing and appears to lack antecedent basis. Should the phrase, “the inner limit projection” be replaced with the phrase, --the inner limit protrusion-- for claim language consistency and clarity? Claim 8 depends from claim 7 and claim 7 sets forth --an inner limit protrusion--.
8. In claim 8, lines 3, the phrase, “the inner limit clamping groove” is confusing and appears to lack antecedent basis. Should “the inner limit clamping groove” be replaced with “an inner limit clamping groove” for correct claim language structuring and clarity? No prior mentioning of “an inner limit clamping groove” claimed.
9. In claim 12, lines 2, the phrase, “a limit notch” the same as “a limit gap” as disclose in paragraph [0021] of the specification. The language of the specification and the claims should be consistent.
10. In claim 16, lines 3, the phrase, “the light blocking piece” is confusing and appears to lack antecedent basis. Should the phrase, “the light blocking piece” be replaced with the phrase
--the light blocking sheet-- for claim language consistency and clarity. Claim 16 depends from claim 1 and claim 1 sets forth --a light blocking sheet--.
11. In claim 17, lines 4-5, the phrase, “The elastic sheet” is confusing and appears to lack antecedent basis. Should the phrase, “The elastic sheet” be replaced with the phrase --the elastic piece” for claim language consistency and clarity. Claim 17 depends from claim 16 and claim 16 sets forth “the elastic piece”.
To avoid claim language ambiguity, please set forth the correct claim language and/or claim language structuring for consistency and clarity. Appropriate correction is required.
12. Claims 3-4, 6-7, 9-11, 13-15 are rejected due to their dependency.
