Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claim 1 is rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Letch (5,664,854). Letch teaches a folding wardrobe (Fig. 1), comprising a wardrobe body (10) and a bottom plate (15), wherein the wardrobe body comprises a first side plate (12), a second side plate (16), a third side plate (14a,14b) and a fourth side plate (14a,14b, opposite side); the bottom plate and the wardrobe body are rotatably connected (at 18); and a first door frame (12 upper and lower members, left side) and a second door frame (12, upper and lower members, right side) are arranged in the first side plate; a cover ring (frame of 13), arranged above the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate and the fourth side plate; a wardrobe body installing folding assembly (hinges 11), arranged in the first side plate and the second side plate and in the third side plate and the fourth side plate, used for installing the entire wardrobe body and capable of facilitating a user to fold the entire wardrobe body (Fig. 2); an installing assembly, arranged in the first door frame (29, left side) and the second door frame (29, right side) respectively and used for installing a wardrobe door.
Allowable Subject Matter
Claims 2-10 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
Conclusion
The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to applicant's disclosure.
