The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the applicant regards as his invention.
Claims 1-13 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), second paragraph, as being indefinite for failing to particularly point out and distinctly claim the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor (or for applications subject to pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. 112, the applicant), regards as the invention.
Claim 1 recites the limitations "the center," “the back side,” “the cam curve” and “the object” therein. There is insufficient antecedent basis for these limitations in the claim. Claims 2-13 are rejected for the same reasons as dependent on claim 1.
Claim 3 recites the limitation "the free ends" therein. There is insufficient antecedent basis for this limitation in the claim.
Claim 4 recites the limitations "the free ends" and “the cover plate” therein. There is insufficient antecedent basis for these limitations in the claim.
Claim 6 recites the limitation "the center" therein. There is insufficient antecedent basis for this limitation in the claim.
Claim 7 recites the limitation "the cover plate " therein. There is insufficient antecedent basis for this limitation in the claim. Claims 8-10 are rejected for the same reasons as dependent on claim 7.
Claim 8 recites the limitations "the other end" and “the cover plate” therein. There is insufficient antecedent basis for these limitations in the claim. Claims 9-10 are rejected for the same reasons as dependent on claim 8.
Claim 9 recites the limitation "the other end," “the bottom” and “the cover plate” therein. There is insufficient antecedent basis for these limitations in the claim. Claim 10 is rejected for the same reasons as dependent on claim 9.
Claim 10 recites the limitation "the space" and “the sides” therein. There is insufficient antecedent basis for these limitations in the claim.
Claim 13 recites the limitation "the circumferential outer edge" therein. There is insufficient antecedent basis for this limitation in the claim.
Allowable Subject Matter
Claim 1 would be allowable if rewritten or amended to overcome the rejection(s) under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), 2nd paragraph, set forth in this Office action.
Claims 2-13 would be allowable if rewritten to overcome the rejection(s) under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), 2nd paragraph, set forth in this Office action and to include all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
