Office Action

§102
DETAILED ACTION Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA . Information Disclosure Statement The information disclosure statement (IDS) submitted on 2/13/2025 was filed. The submission is in compliance with the provisions of 37 CFR 1.97. Accordingly, the information disclosure statement is being considered by the examiner. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. Claim(s) 1-6, 10 and 11 is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Domenger et al WO 2015128571. Domenger et al discloses a bank of capacitor for an automotive vehicle electronic power module comprising: a capacitance block 14 comprising a differential LC filter 16 comprising a capacitor 17 and differential inductors and three capacitors 42) Figure 4, shows a positive busbar 25 (i.e. a first bus bar) ,a negative busbar 26 (i.e. a second bus bar), and capacitors 17 and 42 , wherein the capacitors are directly connected to each of the positive and negative busbars by a material-locking and electrically conductive connection (laser weld) (per claims 2 and 3) PNG media_image1.png 353 527 media_image1.png Greyscale With regards to claim 4, each busbar 25 26 is designed configured as a sheet at least in an area of the connection. With regards to claim 5, the capacitors comprises a positive pin 11 and negative pines (i.e. one connecting wire) per busbar, each of which is connected to the respective busbar . With regards to claim 6, each positive and negative pins extends in the area of the connection substantially orthogonally to a sheet plane of the respective busbar . With regards to claim 10, the automotive vehicle electronic power module further comprises a power module 15 (DC/AC) (i.e. a power electronic component ) , and the differential LC filter 16 . The differential LC filter 16 comprising a capacitor 17 and differential inductors 19 . Figure 4, shows a positive busbar 25 (i.e. a first bus bar) ,a negative busbar 26 (i.e. a second bus bar), and capacitors 17 and 42 , wherein the capacitors are directly connected to each of the positive and negative busbars by a material-locking and electrically conductive connection (laser weld) . With regards to claim 11, the power module 15 (DC/AC) is an inverter. Domenger et al states “ Nowadays, the development of the power electronics makes it possible to produce a reversible AC / DC converter block, that is to say, operating either as a rectifier or as an inverter to power a single reversible polyphase rotating electrical machine which advantageously replaces the starter and the alternator.” Allowable Subject Matter Claims 7-9 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
