The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA . Information Disclosure Statement The information disclosure statement (IDS) submitted on April 03, 2025 and March 09, 2026 was filed. The submission is in compliance with the provisions of 37 CFR 1.97. Accordingly, the information disclosure statement is being considered by the examiner. Claim Rejections - 35 U.S.C. §101 3. 35 U.S.C. §101 reads as follows: Whoever invents or discovers any new and useful process, machine, manufacture, or composition of matter, or any new and useful improvement thereof, may obtain a patent therefor, subject to the conditions and requirements of this title. 4. Claims 1-21 are rejected under 35 USC 101 as directed to an abstract idea without significantly more. With respect to Step 1, the claims are directed to a computer-implemented method. With respect to Step 2A Prong one independent claim, 1, specifically claim 1 recites "acquiring search results corresponding to target search information in response to receiving the target search information” in the context of this claim encompasses the user mentally identifying search results to target search information, “acquiring at least one piece of recommended content matching with the target search information in response to a first search result in the search results being a search result that satisfies a first preset condition, wherein any piece of the recommended content comprises recommended search information and a recommended search result corresponding to the recommended search information” in the context of this claim encompasses the user mentally identifying recommended information in response to viewing the search results to target search information. These limitations could be reasonably and practically performed by the human mind, for instance based on a human can identify search results in association to a search and then decide to recommend information in response to the search results. Accordingly, the claim recites a mental process, which can be done utilizing pen and paper. Accordingly, the claim recites an abstract idea. Step 2A Prong Two the claims do not recite additional elements that integrate the judicial exception into a practical application. The independent claim of 1 recites elements to be mere instructions to apply an exception, because they recite no more than an idea of a solution or outcome: For example, “and displaying the first search result at a first display position of a search result page, and inserting the recommended content into a target display position after the first search result for display” is seen as insignificant extra-solution activity such as MPEP 2106.05(g) iii. Selecting information, based on types of information and availability of information in a power-grid environment, for collection, analysis and display, Electric Power Group, LLC v. Alstom S.A., 830 F.3d 1350, 1354-55, 119 USPQ2d 1739, 1742 (Fed. Cir. 2016); This judicial exception is not integrated into a practical application. At step 2B, the claim recites “and displaying the first search result at a first display position of a search result page, and inserting the recommended content into a target display position after the first search result for display”. For example, “and displaying the first search result at a first display position of a search result page, and inserting the recommended content into a target display position after the first search result for display”, do not include additional elements that are sufficient to amount to significantly more than the judicial exception. The additional elements are a step of transmitting data, and is recognized as well understood, routine, and conventional activity within the field of computer functions as an element of storing and retrieving information in memory (MPEP 2106.05(d)(II)(i)). With respect to Step 1, the claims are directed to a computer-implemented method. With respect to Step 2A Prong one dependent claim, 2, specifically claim 2 recites no new abstract ideas Accordingly, the claim recites an abstract idea. Step 2A Prong Two the claims do not recite additional elements that integrate the judicial exception into a practical application. The dependent claim of 2 recites elements to be mere instructions to apply an exception, because they recite no more than an idea of a solution or outcome that is not an improvement to the functioning of a computer or to another technology: For example “wherein the inserting the recommended content into the target display position after the first search result for display comprises: inserting and displaying the recommended content after the first search result corresponding to the target search information and before another search result corresponding to the target search information” is seen as MPEP 2106.05(g) iii. At step 2B, the claim recites “wherein the inserting and displaying the recommended content after the first search result corresponding to the target search information and before the another search result corresponding to the target search information comprises: displaying second indication information indicating that subsequent content is the recommended content after the first search result corresponding to the target search information and before the another search result corresponding to the target search information, and sequentially displaying the recommended content under the second indication information”. For example, “wherein the inserting and displaying the recommended content after the first search result corresponding to the target search information and before the another search result corresponding to the target search information comprises: displaying second indication information indicating that subsequent content is the recommended content after the first search result corresponding to the target search information and before the another search result corresponding to the target search information, and sequentially displaying the recommended content under the second indication information”, do not include additional elements that are sufficient to amount to significantly more than the judicial exception. The additional elements are a step of transmitting data, and is recognized as well understood, routine, and conventional activity within the field of computer functions as an element of storing and retrieving information in memory (MPEP 2106.05(d)(II)(i)). With respect to Step 1, the claims are directed to a computer device. With respect to Step 2A Prong one dependent claim, 16, specifically claim 16 recites no new abstract ideas Accordingly, the claim recites an abstract idea. Step 2A Prong Two the claims do not recite additional elements that integrate the judicial exception into a practical application. The dependent claim of 16 recites elements to be mere instructions to apply an exception, because they recite no more than an idea of a solution or outcome that is not an improvement to the functioning of a computer or to another technology: For example, “wherein the inserting the recommended content into the target display position after the first search result for display comprises: sequentially inserting different pieces of recommended content between adjacent search results in a plurality of consecutive search results corresponding to the target search information, wherein the plurality of consecutive search results comprise the first search result” is seen as MPEP 2106.05(g) iii. At step 2B, the claim recites “wherein the inserting the recommended content into the target display position after the first search result for display comprises: sequentially inserting different pieces of recommended content between adjacent search results in a plurality of consecutive search results corresponding to the target search information, wherein the plurality of consecutive search results comprise the first search result”. For example, “wherein the inserting the recommended content into the target display position after the first search result for display comprises: sequentially inserting different pieces of recommended content between adjacent search results in a plurality of consecutive search results corresponding to the target search information, wherein the plurality of consecutive search results comprise the first search result”, do not include additional elements that are sufficient to amount to significantly more than the judicial exception. The additional elements are a step of transmitting data, and is recognized as well understood, routine, and conventional activity within the field of computer functions as an element of storing and retrieving information in memory (MPEP 2106.05(d)(II)(i)). With respect to Step 1, the claims are directed to a computer device. With respect to Step 2A Prong one independent claim, 17, specifically claim 17 recites "wherein the acquiring of the at least one piece of the recommended content matching with the target search information comprises: determining at least one piece of recommended search information matching with the target search information according to a pre-established offline mapping relationship between pieces of original search information and the recommended search information, and using a first search result in search results corresponding to the recommended search information as the recommended search result” in the context of this claim encompasses the user mentally identifying search results to target search information, These limitations could be reasonably and practically performed by the human mind, for instance based on a human can identify search results in association to a search and then decide to recommend information in response to the search results. Accordingly, the claim recites a mental process, which can be done utilizing pen and paper. Accordingly, the claim recites an abstract idea. Step 2A Prong Two the claims do not recite additional elements that integrate the judicial exception into a practical application. The dependent claim of 17 recites no new additional elements. Accordingly, the claim recites a mental process, which can be done utilizing pen and paper. Accordingly, the claim recites an abstract idea. Step 2A Prong Two the claims do not recite additional elements that integrate the judicial exception into a practical application. The dependent claim of 9 recites no new additional elements. This judicial exception is not integrated into a practical application. With respect to Step 1, the claims are directed to a storage medium. With respect to Step 2A Prong one dependent claim, 21, specifically claim 21 recites no new abstract ideas Accordingly, the claim recites an abstract idea. Step 2A Prong Two the claims do not recite additional elements that integrate the judicial exception into a practical application. The dependent claim of 21 recites elements to be mere instructions to apply an exception, because they recite no more than an idea of a solution or outcome that is not an improvement to the functioning of a computer or to another technology: For example “wherein the inserting the recommended content into the target display position after the first search result for display comprises: inserting and displaying the recommended content after the first search result corresponding to the target search information and before another search result corresponding to the target search information” is seen as MPEP 2106.05(g) iii. At step 2B, the claim recites “wherein the inserting the recommended content into the target display position after the first search result for display comprises: inserting and displaying the recommended content after the first search result corresponding to the target search information and before another search result corresponding to the target search information”. For example, “wherein the inserting the recommended content into the target display position after the first search result for display comprises: inserting and displaying the recommended content after the first search result corresponding to the target search information and before another search result corresponding to the target search information”, do not include additional elements that are sufficient to amount to significantly more than the judicial exception. The additional elements are a step of transmitting data, and is recognized as well understood, routine, and conventional activity within the field of computer functions as an element of storing and retrieving information in memory (MPEP 2106.05(d)(II)(i)).
