Office Action

§102
DETAILED ACTION Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA . Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – (a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. Claims 1, 10-11,15, 19 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by U.S. Patent Application Publication No. 2022/0345625 to An et al. (“An”). Regarding claim 1, An teaches an electronic device comprising: a camera (reference number [0006] teaches the electronic device may be a camera); memory, comprising one or more storage media, storing instructions (see paragraph [0010] regarding memory storing a program); and at least one processor communicatively coupled to the camera and the memory (paragraph [0059] refers to the processor of the electronic device), wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor individually or collectively, cause the electronic device to: execute an application related to an operation of the camera (reference number 110, application), execute a client distinct from the executed application (see Figure 4, and Figure 11 for the multiple types of applications), determine a configuration of an image stream, based on information on image streams supportable in relation to the camera (see paragraphs [0053], [0068] regarding the configuration file associated with image processing), initiate the operation of the camera, based on the determined configuration of the image stream (see Figure 3A, reference number 301 run application and framework), obtain image data corresponding to the determined configuration of the image stream through the camera, based on a request of the executed application (see reference number 302 collect image data), store the image data in a buffer allocated to the memory (see paragraph [0035] regarding the buffer for storing recorded data), and allow the client to obtain at least one image stream, based on the image data, through the buffer (see paragraph [0085]). Claims 11 and 19 are rejected similarly. Regarding claim 10, An teaches the electronic device of claim 1, further comprising: a display (reference number 1060 display); and a communication circuit (reference number 1090 communication module), wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor individually or collectively, further cause the electronic device to: display a screen including a preview image provided by the application and a visual object corresponding to the client through the display, based on the image data stored in the buffer, and transmit an image stream requested by the client to an external electronic device through the communication circuit, so that an image corresponding to the preview image is displayed through the external electronic device while the preview image is displayed through the display, based on the image data stored in the buffer (see paragraph [0035]). Claim 15 is rejected similarly. Allowable Subject Matter Claims 2-9, 12-18, 20 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
